What is your take on it? Death, wealth, or transformation?

Ruler of the Eighth House is in the Seventh House
Sorrow in connection with the affections. Illness or loss of a loved one.

Ruler of the Eighth House in the Seventh House

You need a certain amount of control when it comes to partnerships of any kind. You feel intensely about close relationships and you just might be someone who also feels strongly about confining your sex life to the marriage state exclusively.
You may want to have some control over your partner's finances and this can become an issue you'll both have to work out together.
A major lifestyle change can come about through a marriage partner, close friend, or even a business partner.

Ruler of the 8th house in the 7th house
My transformation begins in one-to-one relationships. My need for transformation is subservient to my need to be involved in a partnership. I transform in an effort to understand “the other.” I transform feelings of vulnerability through relationships with partners, significant others and adversaries.

quote:
IF Pluto is in your twelfth house AND within 4° of your Ascendant (check the orb in the header), THEN its expression through your first house is at least as strong as through your twelfth; if its orb is less than 2°, it should be read as though it were in the first house and not in the twelfth at all!

I have a distaste for the word "sorrow" because it makes what I've experienced so much more dramatic than I prefer. I have Capricorn, 8th house ruler, (Saturn) in my 7th and I can definitely attest to being disappointed in love. However, my wimpy experiences taught me a LOT, and I don't waste time on people anymore. I also did decide I wasn't going to have sex until I was married. I'm not religious but I feel safer only having one partner. I've also never related to the whole financial thing they speak of concerning Capricorn. Speaking on the major lifestyle change though I've had a couple of tarot readings that stated just that, so I feel reaffirmed someone important is on his way to my life.

Thanks for sharing this Sand.

Everything stated is true for myself. My transformation does begin in one-to-one relationships to a bit of my dismay. But Ah well I'm so used to it being a Libra nonetheless.

I have Libra in the 8th and it's ruler Venus in the 7th. My whole life is centered around relationships. I've never been that ambitious or too interested in things outside of my relationships besides doing humanitarian work which just shows how much I value human relationships.

It's hard also being a Libra with all my 7th and 8th house energy (my two dominant planetary house placements in addition to my 1st house) because relationships are literally my primary focus. If my relationships are in turmoil, then I can almost not function. However I am a very independent person I just like for all things to be in harmony. If I could spend the remainder of my life making a difference through humanitarian work while blissfully sharing my life with my one and only, life would be worth all the stars in the universe. Right now I'm still working on getting there.

Get this: So I have the ruler of my 8th in the 7th. The ruler of my 7th in the 8th. The ruler of my 8th in the 8th. And the ruler of my 7th in the 7th. Talk about a lot of 7th and 8th house action, seriously...

I wonder what effect it would have to have the ruler of 8th in 5th h? Would this be more fun/positive?

i have my ruler of my 8H (leo/sun) in my 7H, and i have the ruler of my 7H (gemini/mercury) in my 6H... i hear that both of these can predict a sick partner or partner who dies!
what about gaining assets through marriage though? im wondering if it could be that, because i want to be a stay at home mom/housewife. dont really have a career im super driven about, and my dream job is to be a stay at home mom. i've wondered if the 7H ruler in the 6H could be manifested in this way, if you're "job" is essentially your partnership duties as a wife/mother...
i also have the ruler of my 10H(libra/venus) in my 5H.
