If you have this Mars placement – Do you tend to attract really demanding people?

I feel like everyone wants a piece of me at all times (friends & family alike) and I just don’t have the energy to deal with it. If I am not there for them even once – they take offence. They either panic that I don’t like them or they become aggressive or emotionally manipulative.

When I say "demanding" - I mean - demanding of your time and attention.
But it is not normally demanding. It is -over the top-.

Bang on Betty Boop. I have mars in the 7th house in Gemini. I always feel i have to be there for someone, and if im not there for x, gotta be there for y, then for z. Its annoying cos when im not there, they go on a strop, and they will pretend they didnt need me anyway. Hate it, and worse thing is, I dont demand anyones attention! Not as much as the people in my life demand!

I have mars in sag in 7th and I definately attract demanding people, everyone always wants something out of me, it never ends. To make matters worse I have venus really strong in my chart, actually its my strongest planet, so im a giver and very generous. I feel like im always getting taken advantage of by the men I date to even my female friends.

Would Pluto in the Seventh be similar? My sister has Pluto in the Seventh and I'm rather curious about it.

Anywho, my mumma has Mars in the Seventh...Pisces...she has always been a fighter, ESPECIALLY when drunk. I don't know if she attracts demanding people for she is herself demanding.

I never heard this about Mars in the 7th. Very interesting.I guess we could say that the Mars may be projected OUT to the "other" as happens with 7th house planets. Then, we deal with the drive of the other even though we projected our own out. Any thoughts?

Betty, to your original post query: Yes. I have dealt with that exact same thing often. It's very draining.

An astrologer friend of mine has also warned me numerous times about attracting abusive people into my life as this happens often, especially with females with this placement.

I've also heard that before, about the attracting abusive people...

Especially with my Mars in 7th house Aries.

Yes I attract abusive men with mars in 7th. Their scorpio planets usually fall in my 7th (im sorp desc). Females be careful with mars in 7th!

I thought it makes them either like and cause alot of fighting/anger and conflict in a relationship, or attract that sort of person to them romantically?

It's like I have moon in my 7th house and I've been involved with men I need to 'take care of' in a way cos they're so emotionally immature.

Gentle people don't project. And In "RL" that's how I am - gentle. Nobody dislikes me there - in RL So I always meet Mars in others unforunatly. Not eve trying to project what's not even there. Once in awhile you meet an aggressive person though and you might have to find the Mars within yourself and bring it out.

I wonder if it is in projecting onto others that I remain so gentle. Like you say, we should acknowledge the mars within ourselves. The reason I say this is because I have my mars at an apex of a t-square, squared by Pluto and Jupiter opposition and yet I hardly ever feel angry. It feels almost unnatural, I am usually a pushover

When I was young, and before I had any romantic experience, I used to fantasize about the whole fight and make up "scenes". But quickly discovered how damaging that truly is. Despite my realization and awareness, in both of my close personal relationships, the only ones I have had, my partners were very demanding. To me, it starts out as flattery and a feeling of security that my Cancer moon craves, but escalates to excessive demanding and "push pull". So to the question, yes people do get demanding of my attention.

And sadly, I am pretty sure it IS because of what I project onto my lovers. My DSC is in Aqua, and although I do like space, I know I would get really insecure should I get it.

My examples were from my intimate relationships but similar is true for my friends and family thought obviously not as extreme. This has caused me to leave people be. To not take things as personally in relationships and to give people space to be themselves. I am still looking for that balanced and happy medium

Grrrreat. Fortunately my Mars isn't right on my DSC but in the 6th, but it's still close to the cusp.

I think I do project it, however.

It's super afflicted so I need to pay extra attention not to get close to abusive people, I guess.. But sometimes they seem so innocent, and the moment you get close, bam! All the ugly traits surface.
