Hi ProudestLeo.

Ok, first is the difference in the aspects themselves; the opposition will have more of a pull back and forth, tug of war effect. While as the square is more grating.. you know it's there. Demands to be tended to. Can be... hmm, cloying. For lack of a better word. Sometimes TOO much for some.

So! With it involving Venus & Uranus..
Since these are hard aspects to Uranus, they're both going to involve issues with freedom/or breaking the "norm", since that's the nature of Uranus. Just handle it differently. It feels electric! Especially at first, when you meet them. The closer the orb, the more so. You might've gotten together quickly; and then ended things just as quickly..
Either could be on/off type relationships if there isn't any Saturn to anchor it or it's a prominent aspect in the Synastry.
Ok, these are the common themes between both aspects. Now, the differences between the two; The opposition might be easier to handle (for some) just because an opposition in and of itself is like two sides of a coin-- but they're still apart of the SAME coin. So, if enough awareness is used the two people could start to see where the other is coming from. When Uranus starts to feel stifled, smothered.. having their freedom imposed upon, there are times when Venus can have a empathetic moment and SEE why.. how they might just be a little too clingy, or emotional for the other. And, for Uranus.. they might have moments where they can see why Venus feels neglected & unloved at times, how they might be too emotionally distant during some instances.. and when both come together and incorporate the opposition, could work the problems out.

Now, with the square.. you have two totally different energies coming together. They don't understand the other or how they work, or why they do things. They can frustrate each other-- or energize. That will depend on the individuals natal charts and how they handle Uranus energy! But, I'm just being general right now so I will spare all that..
So, let's use an example...
Suppose Uranus (he's a guy in this story) has a friend call up and say "Let's go out tonight, man". Uranus is all "Sure!" (<-- or whatever a guy would say). OH, but he's overlooking/forgetting that his GF (Venus, obviously) had called earlier and mentioned how she wanted to try some new restaurant that night. So, he meets up with Venus later on and she's all ready to go out but instead, he's going out.. but not with her. She gets her feelings hurt.. "We had plans first!" and lashes out. He didn't think they were serious plans. Thinks she's overreacting.. in his mind they can go out anytime, not a big deal at all.. plus he thinks they're together right much anyways.. he'd like some space! Well, when he says this to her, being insensitive (which he is).. it hurts her even more. He just can't see WHY she's upset.. doesn't get it. And she can't see why he doesn't get it! It's obvious to her. That's kinda the square.. what's obvious to themselves, isn't to the other. They just don't understand.. to put it simply.
BUT! Again... let me say.. the square CAN be worked on and solved. Like I said in the beginning, you know it's there.. and it kind've demands to be worked on. So, the example described above would happen again and again until they finally started to elevate themselves and become aware. For some, it's too much.. for others, it's invigorating.

I've written a lot, I apologize! Hopefully didn't ramble too much and answered your question some!
I hope you get some people that have experienced both to chime in, too!

The thing is I have Uranus opposite Venus with my mom (me being uranus, she being venus) and its preety much like that...(we also have my mars square her saturn).

Then Im hoping to enter a relationship with someone that I have my Uranus opposite her venus, thats why I was wondering how different was one from the other

Good! I'm the same.. but I know some people can get annoyed by them.

Hmm.. that's interesting. But that Mars square Saturn can be a big "ouch" for some.. not an easy aspect. Which is the closer aspect between y'all? The Venus/Uranus or the Mars/Saturn? Because the Mars/Saturn can feel *kinda* similar. In the sense that the Mars person feels thwarted and repressed by Saturn. But it'd be more agressive than the Venus/Uranus aspect. And the Venus/Uranus would feel more emotional..

Venus opposite Uranus is at 1.05

Mars square Saturn is at 2.54

What does that mean?

my bf and i have Venus c. Uranus and Uranus sq. Venus. it made us initially very attracted to one another, a definite 'love at first sight' experience. and so far it has been just fine, the energy, although i do notice a lot of stop/start to the relationship. sometimes it feels like we're back at 'square one' for instance if either of us goes on vacation and then comes back it's like the relationship goes on stop and then we spend days or weeks getting aquainted again before more action happens. i would also say the venus person does get affected more, but that uranus is happy to be charmed. i would look at the whole synastry chart though - i have 8 major planets in libra/venus and my bf has his major signs in aqua/uranus - so, it could be that you might not even feel this particular energy if you (or your s.o.) is already comfortable dealing with it
