Is there Astrological reasoning for this statement?

I know Venus is feminine and Mars masculine but so are other planets..

It was just a clever marketing slant for a book on the psychology of relationships. The author doesn't even refer to Astrology. He simply means that men and women are very different.

^ Exactly.

Are men and women really that different, though? Of course there are differences, that's undeniable, but to what extent? Don't we all want the same thing, in the end?

I've never read that book, by the way, so sorry if those are some silly questions. I just often wonder how different we really are from each other.. There are so many stereotypes and prejudices that it's hard to really have an opinion on this, especially with little experience.

I do think that women are more emotional though (in general). But I may be wrong, of course.

Mostly gender roles are what create the differences we assume are the differences between male and female. But these roles are ingrained at such a young age that you cannot really consciously free yourself from them.

i am skimming the pdf lol! i am a feminine sign dominant guy being earth taurus and water scorpio dominantbut i identify more with the mars in this one.

i did want to start a gender thread minus the moon, venus feminine, mars sun masculine, synastry stuff. just natals but not really sure what to explore. aspects perhaps coz it is less talked about. beyond that i dunno.
