Depressed yes... because so much is going wrong  I don't talk to my new partner about astrology because I don't yet know what he will think about it... but I can see MercuryRx affecting him soooo much... I also assume the others affected him as well because he complains of having gained weight recently Mars is Rx in his 4th, Saturn his 5th, and Mercury his 10th... his biggest problems have been regarding his career negotiations... his career is in the creative/entertainment industry (5th stuff)... Mars is co-Lord of his 11th (in H6) (natally Rx)
Saturn Lord of 8 (in H6) (but natally Rx)
Mercury Lord of Asc and H5 (in end 11) I have tMars in the 12th. Mars is Lord of H7 in H9.
tSaturn in end of H1. Lord of H4, in H9.
tMercury in H6. Lord of 12, co-Lord of 9, in H5.

I don't think saturn rx is that big of a deal. It's rx half the year. If it's rx on one of your planets it's a big deal, but that's any rx.
The big ones are venus, mars,and mercury and to a certain extent Jupiter. In that order, too.

Retrograde planets are not a bad thing per se. In fact they just work more internally and consequently less external things happen because the planets energy become more psychological. IP: Logged |

Not necessarily, especially if you have RX planets in the natal, sometimes it causes the opposite effect. Like I have RX Saturn in the 1st and I feel more at ease when it is RX.

Just because you have a planet rx doesn't mean you experience it better. It can just make you express that energy more easily, which isn't always a good thing. I've seen quite a few murderers who killed during mars rx, when they had mars rx natally, as a rather morbid example. So, yes, it can help someone with a rx express that planet more readily.

It depends on how the rx planet interacts in your chart.I have Scorpio asc and 5 planets in cap, so therefore I am taking the saturn/mars harder than usual. I usually feel mars rx badly but the saturn rx is yucky because it's squaring my natal saturn in the 3rd from the 12th. quote:

I don't really feel Jupiter rx because my natal Jupiter is rx... I think that goes for all planets, that if they're rx natally the person won't feel the transit rx so bad. ------------------

For me, its Merc retro that is worse because its my chart ruler and its retro 3/4 times a year.I tend to communicate less and I always have problems with my comp or my Net connection or people misunderstand me etc.Next is Mars, makes me lethargic,depressed.Its in my 3rd house and with Merc Rx things have literally come to a standstill.The one person I'm close to, has stopped talking to me for the last one month and its definitely due to this combo.I have no idea why.Just waiting for Apr 14th for relief and some answers.I'm scared to think what will happen on May 15th when Venus goes Rx.I have Venus in 12th Gemini.IP: Logged |

The are many good thing of mercury in retro. Mercury rebuild in retro. I always and often start renovate thing in retro. The things has always comes out good of that. My mercury was in PR retro in 7 year. Those year was I on my educations... that comes out much good of that.IP: Logged |

I am usually greatly affected by retro planets. I think because I have no rx planets in my chart so I'm not used to the energy, or have a difficult time integrating it in a healthy way. Right now is especially horrible, because rX Mars is opposing and squaring a lot of my personal planets. Mercury rX, too, is starting to affect that area. Though I'm hoping when it turns back t direct and trines my nmerc in Scorpio (at about 28 degrees) things will get better.  IP: Logged |
