Interesting things I'm reading about Saturn Rx: "Saturn is associated with business and employment. It has been my observation for nearly thirty years that if one starts a business while Saturn is retrograde, one will be out of business a year later. Similarly, if one starts a job while Saturn is retrograde, the job will be either temporary, a drudgery, or both. The temporary condition is not necessarily negative. One can be promoted within the first year, the job might change within the first year, or temporary employment might be all that is desired." "Saturn turning retrograde will slow down the normal rate of activity so that better methods and strategies can be developed. Saturn rules the physical and psychological supports, structures and armatures in our life. It produces the rules and regulations by which we guide our lives, our sense of responsibility, and our limitations. It allows us to define boundaries for ourselves by saying NO! When Saturn is natally retrograde, this capacity does not function properly, making us insecure and unable to accurately assess what can realistically be expected in any situation. The most common flaw is the tendency to say YES when we should say NO, especially in activities and relationships ruled by Saturn’s house position. Stress hits – do not make commitments or financial decisions on these dates: MARCH 2-4, (Venus), APRIL 2-4 (Ceres) MAY 5-6 (Mercury) During the period when Saturn is transiting retrograde, it is essential that we go back and assess and solidify commitments made, projects started and responsibilities undertaken in the past. This must be done before we can continue. Saturn transiting retrograde provides the opportunity to reassess what we have taken on, to finally say NO, to back out of a commitment and to improve the organization of a project. While the process is going on, while you are working with what you have at hand, you should be warned against taking on any unnecessary responsibilities or long-range commitments. Only deal with issues from the past; do not take on new ones! Saturn turning retrograde gives us the opportunity to go back and reorganize or renegotiate any activities or commitments that seem to be a source of frustration. If you merely persist under Saturn frustrations, the frustrations will merely persist! Weed out the source of frustration at this time. Remember, my definition for being responsible is in knowing how much you can do before you start to feel frustrated, trapped or confined – and drawing the line and saying NO before you reach that point! It is essential that you do not start any new business activity while Saturn is retrograde!! You will only find that a lot of reorganizing has to be done before any successes can be made." I don't agree. Saturn is retrograde about half the year, so for half the year every business started would fail etc? I'm not trying to disparage the writer, but I don't agree. The outer planets turning rx aren't that big of a deal unless they're rx on a planet of yours.IP: Logged |

I'm really tired of RX planets getting such a bad wrap. Like Diana said, Saturn is RX half the year so it should not be that obvious between direct and RX. IP: Logged |

I agree^^. It can be draining when a planet is rx, but a lot of them (saturn, neptune, pluto, uranus) are rx most of the year, so really it's not THAT big of a deal. It's the inner planets, especially mars and venus, that can cause us to feel out of sorts. But -- good things do happen when planets are rx too. For instance, during mars rx, people may think before jumping the gun and not be rash. With venus, we may be more discriminating in matters of the heart. There are good sides to everything, each has its positives and negatives. IP: Logged |

I'm going to stay positive about this Saturn rx..I have a business prospect that I've been working on with 2 other people. Most companies fail within three years but I'm going to try stay one foot ahead of these retros.IP: Logged | |
