I have a water grand trine in houses 3 - 7 – 11
Years ago I thought they were kind of special but not so much now.
I can be prone to laziness/lack of drive/too hard basket type of thinking.

Apparently grand trines work best when tied into a t-square of which I also have.
I’d hate to think how lazy I’d be without the t-square driving this bus!

Can it be a grand trine if one includes a node? I know someone that has a pluto, uranus and node in a grand trine.

I count mine. Moon-Neptune-NN...two water planets, all in water signs, in air houses.

Emotional and intuitive? Internally, yes. Externally, definitely more air-like.

Hi, the planets are working together to produce harmony when they are in a grand trine. None of them is dominant. Grand trines are always beneficial unless they aren't energized by other items. They are sometime catalysts, sometime dissipators.

Well, since we're indulging in a bit of thread necromancy...

I count mine using the Asc. It's probably not the same as using 3 planets. But when planets transit my Asc and complete the trine, it's noticeable. As in I knew the third week of October was a crazy time in my life before I understood astrology to see the cause. I think the combination of the Asc placed there and the completion of my venus-saturn trine together are stronger than either alone.

Mercury Rx, I'm afraid I'm babbling. TLDR: not as strong as a 3 planet Grand Trine, but stronger than just a trine without any third placement at all.

Sooner or later I'm going to ask to see a picture of you, Faith. That sounds like quite the combo.

I see it as a gift from the universe. Because it makes things easier in the areas ruled by the trine.

But easy things can also lead to complacency and laziness.

I have a grand air trine with my moon-mars-jupiter. 1-5-9 houses.

Growing up an only child was a curse for me. This GT makes me super lazy at times. Competition is what keeps me alive but i dont get enough of it.

Greetings, everyone! In regards to grand trines, I have a question. What would be the main feature of a grand trine if it was formed by Neptune in Sagittarius, Venus in Leo, and Moon in Taurus? Would it be considered a grand trine that is "kind of" in fire? Or not quite?

^ I'm sorry, I don't have enough knowledge to advise you but I'm sure someone will be along who can

...

I've Neptune (conjunct moon) trine Saturn (conjunct mc) trine Mercury (fire signs)

I've some talent in writing but can be lazy or not motivated to use.

An interesting detail though is that my figurative writing is better stirred and inspired when I'm writing something more in saturns realm I.e a letter, highly formal text, essay. If I start off writing in a more formal manner in even a poem or piece of fiction, the figurative starts to bubble up in a way that's very joyful to me. It's as if the three corners are holding each other together and if not all employed, the other points are weakened. Or I have to make one of the other aspects jealous for it to awaken.

How interesting, florence! I enjoy writing tremendously but I'm rubbish at it. It's lovely that your writing ability just flows once stirred!🌞 Are fire grand trines usually associated with writing ability? Thank you very much for responding. Ciao for now!

It depends on the planets involved. So a Grand Trine with Mercury can indicate writing talent (no matter what element the Grand Trine is in). A Grand Fire Trine without Mercury can indicate other talents, again depending on the planets involved. I feel like your Grand Trine in particular is good for creativity, imagination and the arts
