Do you yearn for a mental connection with a partner more than anything?

Chiron is in the 6th house so that could be service or health. Have you had health issues which dog you? Merc conj Chiron would show great pain in something to do with your mind/communication. Has that been true?

The other interesting thing that struck me was the Mars in the 8th in Scorpio quincuncx Moon in the 1st. Do you have a struggle with your emotions which you tend to be open about and your deep desire to explore taboo subjects. Do you want to look under the surface of everything-- all emotions and passions: to explore them to the depth? However, do you find that this part of you does not go with the part of you that wants to be open in a trusting way?

Do you have a struggle with anger? Do you feel a struggle between when to express your emotions and when to keep them quiet. Do you find that you explode and then feel badly? Or,do you stuff them and then feel badly?

Full Seventh House—-Loss of Identity?

I was contemplating the Seventh House, as that of the “other”. In doing charts, I have seen that people with a full Seventh House may feel a lack of personal identity and look for it in a partner. This makes sense. If one has any planet in the Seventh, one may look to find the qualities of this planet in a partner. If one has Venus in the Seventh House, one may not feel love for oneself until a partner mirrors love.If one has the Sun in the Seventh House, one may find his identity in the partner. If one has Mars in the Seventh House, one may use the partner as the anger rod while one’s own anger stays submerged. If one has Pluto in the Seventh, one may find one’s passion in the arms of a lover, only, and not be connected to one’ s primal self, otherwise. If one has the moon in the Seventh, one may not feel a connection to one’ s emotions, unless in a relationship. One may look for an emotional partner. If one has Uranus in the Seventh, one’s rebellion may be submerged as one finds a rebellious and lets him act it out. If one has Jupiter, here, one may look for an optimistic, jovial partner .One may not be able to access this side of oneself, without the help of the partner. If one has Saturn, here, one may look for a task master. One may not be disciplined without the help of a Father-figure kind of partner.Asteroids open up a plethora of avenues. I will explore that in another article.

You have many differing parts to yourself.You are a practical person who has a generous heart and likes the simple comforts of life. However, you may struggle with feeling emotionally aloof. I think that you may have a struggle with being attracted to people who are practical and have warm personalities and like the simple pleasures in life and then feeling that you cannot be emotionally expressive enough in relationships.

You may struggle when you go after a goal in being bogged down with trying to do it too perfectly.

You have many different parts to you with many different energies. When one meets you, you seem considerate, genteel and gracious. You would be a perfect cocktail party guest in your little black dress, pumps and pearls.

However, when one gets to know you, which is not easy, one finds a character of steel. You have intense emotions and passions. You give loyalty but demand it, in return. You do not take lightly to betrayal.

This intense personality is greatly softened by other placements though, although it is still there. Inside, you have a restlessness. You may seek adventure and may feel out of sorts if you can't follow it. In love, you may not stick around when it gets hard or to be too much work.

With projects, you may start with great desire but then lose focus when something new or shinier comes around. I don't have the NN and SN. You can add these. This will help me see where you need to focus.

However,I can see that you need to access the maturity and goal setting part of yourself. This may be your hardest energy in which to feel comfortable.

I'm not really sure if my parents were distant or not, actually! I know that my parents were not married when I was born (they married shortly before my first birthday, and he left her not long after)...I'm not sure what their relationship was like before all of that, it's always felt like too precarious of a thing to even ask about. I definitely lose myself in relationships! I become so deeply involved and connect/identify so strongly with them that they take over my life.

I think simply "looking for mental stimulation from a partner" is an understatement! This is simply just a requirement for me, and, as I'm sure you could imagine, it's not always very easy to find. I find so much of my livelihood in relationships (even as hard as I try not to) that I really do feel quite empty when I am not in a relationship. I do think that I went through a period where I struggled with my identity and trying to figure out who and what I was, and, in retrospect, I definitely see that I was finding a lot of success in an identity through a partner, but as soon as whatever partner disappeared, that identity disappeared with it!

I struggled with depression and crippling anxiety for several years. I'm not really sure why, but everything just kind of came together and it was all quite a mess. It would sometimes get to the point where I wouldn't leave the house for weeks on end because I was afraid of the sunlight outside and I was scared of people seeing me! Over the past year or so, everything has eased back to normal, and over two months or so, with a Sun transiting 12th house and subsequent Sun transiting 1st house, I have really turned over a new leaf! My discovery and pronounced interest in astrology/tarot popped up during that 12H transit. I haven't looked at any other transits that could have happened during that time, it could be that something passed over a natal planet and just unlocked a new part of me - I really don't know. So, yes, I think you could definitely say that I've had a lot of issues with mental illness.

I have always felt a *little* special to have Venus in 7H Libra and Mars in 8H Scorpio - I have heard those are both strong and natural placements for both! I have, to be honest, always overlooked quincunxes, semisextiles, sesquiqudratures, (bi-)quintiles, etc. because I didn't consider them of importance. It caught my attention when you pointed this out! Yes, absolutely to this. I had a traumatic experience that has caused me to want to shell up emotionally with everything that I do. I've wanted to deal with that experience for a long time, but my young self pushed everything deep down inside of me until I was able to truly deal with it. Now I've reached a point where I can begin to handle it, but whenever I open up that part of me, it's like opening a hot oven and feeling the burst of warmth...It's a part of me that hasn't changed a bit since that time, and it's perfectly crystallized and been wound up so tightly that it's just too potent of memories to deal with all at once.

I think I can have anger issues. I know I can be very passive aggressive when I want to be, and I somewhat like fighting, but more on the realm of debating. The intellectual stimulation is great, but, of course, the Libra in me dislikes the discord of it, and the Venus in me finds it slightly unseemly. I've watched myself have fiery explosions of anger on more than one occasion. It's always verbal, never physical in any way whatsoever, not even a hint of it. I think I repress my anger...but oh god, that's something for another day...another topic alltogether!

I bet we'd make pretty great friends, you're so upbeat and cheery! Thank you for that article on the 7th House, I really liked it. I'm always busy googling and finding new articles on astrology, mostly far out and specific things, and they're always so interesting! I appreciate your reading Ami, I hope my feedback fits in and makes sense.

You are a detail oriented person. Your house is prolly organizes as is your desk. You are fighter for those you love. You have courage to fight for a cause in which you believe. You may like to get dolled up and strut your stuff. You you may be a glamorous gal.

You may have a hard time with decisions, though. You may get excited when you set a goal but can see another goal you want and leave the first one behind. You may jump from goal to goal and have a hard time getting to one place, as a result.
