For Libra I'd have gone with Catherine Zeta-Jones! Class to the max and sooo gorgeous!

Very cool. I actually don't really like Catherine, she seems a bit pretentious but there's no doubt that she's beautiful. I actually chose Fran because she reminds me of myself as a Libra. She fits my opinion of what a Libra should be. Someone who isn't afraid to make a fool of themselves yet is true to themselves. She makes being a goofball elegant and endearing and she's incredibly intelligent and so kind. Which I respect.

There are tons of Libra's that I think are amazing and beautiful including Carole Lombard, Rita Hayworth, Marion Cotillard, Deborah Kerr, Kate Winslet, I mean the list goes on however, they don't really fit the mold of what I'd consider the epitome. I try not to take myself to seriously as a Libra and I love Libra's like Will Smith or Fran Drescher who have a laugh about how nutty life can be. Libra's can be a bit vain and it's always nice to run across those that are just enjoying life instead of focusing so much on the superficial side of life.

Oh yeah, I forgot about her. Monica is gorgeous, probably one of my favorite Libra's . She's agnostic which I think is cool. I love her intellectual take on spirituality and the world. She's a very smart women.

^ She's beyond adorable. I think the Jupiter there as well really adds to it. I have Scorpio Jupiter like Sharon Stone (Pisces) and it really changes the look.

Ooh, Maya Angelou!

quote:
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Still I Rise

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops.
Weakened by my soulful cries.

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

Lucy Lawless, when she played Xena (although I never watched the show, I know people who just loved her in that).

ew not evita, research your Argentinian politics a little more Sand! Peron wasn't exactly a saint...

I LOVE Catherine Zeta-Jones, she doesn't make fun of herself because she's a full-fledged Libra glamorous as hell and completely poised and lovely. She's extremely witty though and GORGEOUS. Her and Monica Bellucci are possibly my two favorite women appearance wise of all time.

I think Madonna is such an archetypal Leo, it's ridiculous.

She's always been a courageous and original artist. Extremely stylish and always makes a strong impression. A premiere trendsetter. Somewhat of a Diva: brassy and bossy with a dash of arrogance (which is part of her charm and appeal for many). And, yeah, many of her career moves back in the day were for the sheer sake of attention. But there's really no pretense; she's always uncompromisingly herself in that proud and straightforward way we Leos are. And she's attained such regal status in the entertainment industry and has yet to relinquish her title.

I know she's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm a big fan. I liked her much more back in the 80's and 90's, though, when she was rebellious and cutting-edge. "Erotica" is one of my favorite albums ever.
