Capricorn Sun. Gemini Moon. Pisces ASC Not movies that a man would typically call his favorites, but I am an affectionate, emotional being. Not coincidental that my wife has a physical resemblance to the leading actress. She is my favorite actress of all time and a role model for the charitable care of children. IP: Logged |

Sun: Taurus Moon: Scorpio Rising: LibraOne of my all time favorite movies: The Addams Family (1991) As of recent this has become one of my favorites, if not my most favorite. I LOVE the red queen so so much.
Alice in Wonderland (2010) And this is likely going to become one of my favorite movies once it is released (I am SO excited for it).
Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) I'm sure you can figure out a common theme between these three just from the trailers alone on the style I like in movies .

I loved the Pirate films from the 50`s I think. Probably with Errol Flynn. And also love costumes films. Oh and through my aunt I loved Elvis-films. And the old musical films. The screwball comedies, especially with Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracey, "Adam`s Rib", and one of me newer personal feel-good-movies is "Down with love" with Ewan Mc Gregor and Renee Zellwegger I think. Always lifts my mood up. Of course I also like more serious films, but these were the ones that came to mind along with "Gone with the wind", but that has already been covered here. Ooo nice topic. Well I'm: Libra Sun Moon Aries Aqua Rising To Catch a Thief (1955): Starring the eloquent Grace Kelly and the dashing Cary Grant. The Riviera, the fashion, the music, the suspense, one of Hitchcock's most famous films. Simply incredible. Gilda (1946): Starring Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford. What a movie, Rita is beyond in this movie. No Man of Her Own (1932): Carole Lombard and Clark Cable, who'd go on to fall in love in real life and get married. What an incredible couple and great move. Clark Gable (swoon). Pal Joey (1957): Starring Frank Sinatra, Kim Novak and Rita Hayworth. I'm a huge Rita fan and I love Kim Novak as well. Two very beautiful and elegant female actresses. The music in this movie is wonderful too, Frank sings it very well. And of course the greatest romance film ever: An Affair to Remember (1957): Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr. Hands down one of the most romantic movie's of all times. The ending always get me. Hehe! Ah but who can fault a hopeless romantic for trying right? I mean it's such a great movie you've got to at least take a chance by applying some of those techniques to your dating life. I've done the Notebook film/book, thing where I fell in love with someone when I was a child and then I wrote them a love letter years later and we found each other again. But unlike the movie, we realized we'd changed to much and out grown the hazy rose colored glasses of our youth. When I first met him I was undergoing a massive Neptune transit and when we met again years later, that Neptune transit had ended, and a Saturn transit had replaced it and reality kicked in. But it was fun dreaming about the possibility of a great love with him for all those years... IP: Logged |

Nice movies! Do I see a connection with Moon Sign here? And with classics I meant anything pre-70s. But it's ok to put some younger movies up.IP: Logged |

You have to watch An Affair to Remember. It's so witty and romantic, and Deborah Kerr is so graceful and Cary Grant is so charming. They make a perfect pair. The ending is so beautiful and disarmingly moving. If you're ever in a romantic mood, rent, buy, download, the film. It'll be worth it! IP: Logged |

I put newer stuff up because those are classics to me. I haven't watched many movies pre-1970. Just no real interest in them. Perhaps that can be astrologically explained. IP: Logged |
