How do I attract romantics and poets instead of liars?! I'm hurt over this last guy, a Gemini (Moon in Cancer, Merc in Gemini, Venus in Gem, Mars in Pisces) because we liked each other but I couldn't trust him. I thought of my Neptune after I'd found out and it's aspects... surely there's a way to control who you attract! I don't lie either in case someone brings that up.IP: Logged |

Become a poet or a romantic. Like attracts like. Get into the Arts in various ways. Whatever art you like. Museums, galleries, music clubs, film clubs... etc. You'll stand a better chance of finding an artist that way.IP: Logged |

You're attracted to people you can't trust. Or, no matter who that person is, you're never going to trust them fully because of Neptune. The 7th is what you project on to other people. You might be dating a real stand up dude but you're going to project Neptune on to him, aka to YOU he's a liar, to YOU he's untrustworthy.Romantics aren't exactly the kind of people you can trust anyway lol. I have Neptune in the 7th, too. I always think "WHY ME?!" But it really is me, not them. IP: Logged |

I didn't project it lol. He literally lied to me about his past. And he's blatantly untrustworthy having just gotten off embezzlement charges with 10 years of probation. However I know what you're saying because I'm suspicious of most men. Getting better at not being so much, but it's still there. IP: Logged |

I have a similar problem w/ Neptune in the 7th. I am attracted to attached & subtly manipulative types. Was told I needed to go for the people I am not as interested in, in order to change my habits. But that just doesn't sound like much fun. . .

I have Neptune in the 7th as well and I would have to agree with amowls. I don't attract liars because I'm not afraid of attracting liars. I'm afraid of attracting a man who tells me he loves me and then goes through a period of indecision, and then tells me that 50% of him wants to be with me and 50% of him doesn't - and that's exactly what I attract. Every single time (word for freaking word).I think the law of attraction and/or manifesting whatever you give the most energy to holds true for all people, but with Neptune in the 7th I actually think it might be stronger and possibly more easy to manifest when it comes to people. I would personally go back to looking over your childhood and at what point you developed that specific trust issue. Honestly, all our patterns are created at a really early age and so to get to the root of them, go back to that period in your life. You can also ask yourself who he reminds you of - your mother, father, a sibling - to try and get at the root. Usually when we repeat patterns it's because we are trying to heal a part of ourself that has been hurt. I know how challenging this is but I'm in the midst of doing some spring Neptunian cleaning and that's my current strategy. Good luck!! IP: Logged |

Amowls is right...I have this aspect too. People never notice me until I'm standing right behind them breathing down their necks. IT's a gift really. Try ease dropping, it's so easy for us to get the info we need...

That's so true! I do tend to feel like I have an upper-hand in the law of attraction, but I always thought it was my Mars in Gemini in the 12th. I know what you're saying and you're right - it's just that I've been lied to. I'm not the only one or anything, but it affected my confidence and belief in my judgment. I have Sun sq. Neptune and Venus sq. Neptune as well (Sun and Venus being in the 11th.) So I usually ask everyone I know "Okay, do you think this is right? Is this a good decision?" but at the same time everyone else is different and I end up feeling like I'm trying to make them happy instead of myself! I've got a lot of sorting out to do. I wonder if a Earth sign would balance out the Neptune-ness in me. IP: Logged |

So I get ignored or feel passed over a lot because of my 7th H Neptune... NOT my Mars in Gemini in the 12th house? Interesting idea about eaves dropping. I think I could get away with it but I have a Sagittarian mouth - no filter. Unedited. I have a real time trying to keep my "vibes" and opinions to myself, try as I might. This is how I discovered the difference between an Aries and a Scorpio or Virgo... all about the "vibes." IP: Logged |
