Wud like to know too. I have Scorpio asc 0 degrees and Pluto on 0 Scorpio as well. It is retrograde. In the natal chart, Pluto tends to operate even more Plutonian when it is retrograde. It is far more intense, it possesses a higher degree of concentration and it, therefore, gives greater insights into the subconscious. Because of this intensity, the individual can see much more than normally possible and it is easy to become suspicious of the motives of others. The powers of regeneration are far greater when retrograde. People with a natal retrograde Pluto have a tremendous ability to overcome major illnesses that might otherwise cause permanent disability. Remember, retrograde motion is always directed toward inner activity such as the psyche or psychological patterns that affect the physical body. Direct motion, on the other hand, is directed towards external circumstances. http://www.lynnkoiner.com/astrology-articles/pluto-retrograde IP: Logged |

So half the population has self-regenerating powers. Uh-oh, sounds like trouble for the medical industry!IP: Logged |

^ Yeah I'm not sure about this interpretation, either. I personally don't think Rx outer planets are that significant *but* I am not an expert, so could be wrong. Maybe their effect is more noticeable when they're conjunct the ASC or the chart ruler though.

I have Uranus Rx conj ASC, and I agree with this insofar as that I feel it much more internally. To the casual onlooker it seems like business as usual, but I'll randomly burst out with something from left field eventually. quote: When Uranus is retrograde natally, the rebellious urges tend to bottle up, bottle up and then burst forth seemingly out of nowhere. This stems from the fact that these people need to make changes internally before they can manifest them in the external world. During this “processing” phase, the individual rarely realizes just how rebellious he or she is. When Uranus transits retrograde, it will reawaken freedom urges causing the individual to suddenly rebel against any ruts or confinement in the life. I feel that it is better to process what needs to change while Uranus is retrograde and actualize the change when it turns direct. The retrograde simply makes you aware but it is generally not wise to impulsively act upon an awareness.

Btw do u see any difference between u and ur ex? Dats like Keanu reeves.I honestly don't think Scorpio/ Pluto is powerful. I think they wreak havoc more on the individual and they hafta find strength thru that. I dunno. I was playing a game on another forum picking faves from each sign. I ended up with Scorsese. I don't see Martin as powerful, I mean he is a legend in his industry and makes badass movies but he is no Spielberg. IP: Logged |

It would be interesting to check progressions in childhood - I have Pluto rx in the 1st and I nearly died as an infant. I suspect it was the time when it got closer to the asc, by progression. Have you experienced a major event in early childhood?IP: Logged |

Lol sorry! Well he could have some Neptune blinders going on somewhere else in the chart. I've never been sick unless the odd fever, cough, or flu. My birth was easy but it could account for the internal struggle my mother went thru. My Pluto squares my moon. Childhood was awesome. But it did manifest for me in similar ways perhaps. I wasn't the easiest child to control but I have Saturn in h1 too so it wasn't like I would go wildly out of on troll. I knew my limits. http://lenisastrology.blogspot.com/2007/10/child-with-pluto-conjunct-ascendant.html IP: Logged |
