This has happened a few times in the past where after a dissolution of a relationship, I meet the person's astrological opposite and click with them. Typically just the Sun and Moon sign.
Like Virgo/Cap moon> Pisces/Cancer Moon
or Aqua/Gem> Leo/Sag

Can anyone relate to this?

Yep, in terrible love with a Virgo sun, am a Pisces sun...

And we are so, so opposite, but if mutual respect is maintained, the opposite can be quite complimentary.

Far, far from easy, and I dont care what traditional astrology says about the elements being compatible, and in our situarion both mutable, both nonsense for compatibility, easily, however there is certainly a general ease within th energy of the other.

Just the very defination of opposite is hard, read darn hard!

People who I am really fond of... have had opposite signs from my own. I got along really well with an Aries sun despite that I am a Libra sun. I have a weirdly strong connection to a younger family member with a Cancer moon, even though I have a Virgo moon.

I tend to attract opposites sometimes, but not always. I actually love it when I do, since it brings something totally new to a relationship for me! It just depends though. I have a love-hate thing with Aries people especially. I don't always get along with an Aries sun but I like an Aries ASC usually.

Has not happened in love but by two closest friends are opposite signs!
She is a Cap with a Sag moon.
He is a Cancer with a Gem moon.
So excited you brought this up! I never had thought about that. In friend terms - I go from one to another.
I feel like now I've got the whole world in my hands.

They kissed eachother, though. And then things got weird.
Most importantly weird for me...jk?

An astrological opposite is two sides of the same coin. They're both trying to do the same exact thing but in completely opposite ways... unlike squares who are trying to do different things in ways that get in the way of each other. At least that's how I understand it. Personally, I tend to look at opposing signs as the exact same thing. Two halves of a whole, differently charged, but still the same.

I can't relate, but I wonder if it's because you understood the goal of the specific energy but didn't like the way that the sign tried to achieve the goal... so went for someone with the same goal (talking energy goals not actual physical or materialistic goals) because you liked it, hoping that their way of going about it would be better.

Could be wrong though... I tend to think outside the box, around corners, and through the cracks if at all possible... which means I don't actually pay much attention to the correct way of doing/understanding things. lol
