Socially inhibited, shy, afraid to make verbal mistakes, took time to say things - and when things were said, they were very matter-of-fact and could be construed as condescending. Their heads tend to be filled with depressing thoughts. I wouldn't want for this aspect, but on the plus side, it does bestow lots of focus.IP: Logged |

Yeah...me! lol Mercury and Saturn conjunct in Virgo, 7th house. I'm afraid if I try to describe this aspect in myself it would be biased! What has you asking? Johnny ****** ------------------ as above, so below; as within, so without; as the Universe, so the Soul. IP: Logged |

From: http://www.strangehouse.com/natal-aspects/mercury-conjunct-saturn.html This is surprising to me because it's not something that I would normally associate with a Saturn aspect especially the conjunction. IP: Logged |

I relate to the 'tuning out' bit; I often find myself in a daze in conversations...my mind just wanders off of its own accord! Makes me look rude or disinterested at times lol ------------------ as above, so below; as within, so without; as the Universe, so the Soul. IP: Logged |

Yes... my mother. And it just played out so bizarrely for her. She's sort of narcissistic, and very histrionic at times, but this is explained by other things in her chart I won't bring up. Adding this Mercury-Saturn conjunction just makes it all the more weirder in my opinion. Although she may dramatically display emotions like one suffering from a histrionic disorder, she ALSO has Moon conjunct Saturn; and I know her, and how cold to the core she is. This is also displayed by this. Having Moon in Leo makes the dramatic emotion, but beneath those acting displays is just a cold, very mean and cruel person, a side that is dark that comes out at random times. It's very upsetting. As for the Mercury-Saturn conjunction, since her Mercury is in Leo she has no problem dramatizing the things she says; yet at the same time, with these two planets connected it seems that she has a very hard time revealing true, genuine emotions or saying something genuinely emotional and comforting, caring or concerned. She has never been able to have a serious talk with someone or described something with genuine, serious emotion. Bizarre, right? I guess because the conjunction is in Leo...? She baffles me, in EVERY way, even astrologically! 8'(

I have Mercury conjunct Saturn in the 1st house, both conjunct my Capricorn ASC. I am a bit of a procrastinator and am hesitant to speak my mind or act quickly, only because i like to think of the best action i can take or the best thing i can say, etc... i like to make sure things are well thought out and planned for the future. The strangehouse definition describes it well, but i don't get much depressed feelingsIP: Logged |

Can I ask you something? Do you ever feel like it's easier to let someone you trust lead you(? This is both something that I've read on that site and saw it in real life, but I only know one person with this combination and it's kinda difficult to make up a pattern.IP: Logged |
