How many times a day, week or month do you need to remind yourself to keep the faith? What astro placements do you think throws you off the "path" once in a while?

Keep the faith in what?

I have Venus trine Saturn, and I'm an optimist who believes things will turn out well. Hence my screen name

However, my sun square Pluto gets awfully discouraging sometimes. Achievement can seem farther off than it actually is. That's where I have to remind myself that I am up to the task, that it won't take forever, that I won't fail, that I've succeeded before. That is a daily battle.

Interesting question. I find that it goes in phases. For the last two and a half years I've had to remind myself almost daily. Before that I would have a difficult phase for maybe a month or a few weeks, or shorter or a bit longer. (never 2.5 years at a time really)

Which astro placement throws me off? A number of them, depending on what has made my faith go sour. Either Moon in the 12th square Mars in the 4th and quincunx Neptune in the 7th. Or Sun and Venus in Cancer in the 2nd square Pluto/Karma in the 5th. Or my Mercury conjunct Ascendant which opposes Neptune in the 7th. That last one has been troubling me for months.
