Question. I've heard both sides so I'm confused as to which way to look at this. So when personal planets fall in someone else's house in synastry, who feels it?? Real life example: someone's venus falls in my 8th house. And their mars falls in my 7th house. Who feels what? Depending on the nature of the house. Like in general?

My experience has been that the planet person generally feels the brunt of it, at least initially. They see the house person projecting themselves in a certain manner to the world & it pulls on certain aspects of the planet person's nature. If it's something on an angle, then it's something that the planet person will emphasize in the interaction, they'll typically want to display it strongly, to somehow 'prove' that part of themselves to the house person, like it's some kind of peacock strutting contest going on. Display the full plumage.

But it seems that the *extent* that the planet person will want to make the display is based on how well the 2 natals correspond. That will be the initial clue or feeling that they have something in common *somewhere*. Without the backup of natal correspondences we tend to not notice others as they feel so removed from who we are. I believe that we attract what we are, it's mirrored back for better or worse in an attempt to either get high on the good, or deal with the bad.

The end result if they ever get together is an interplay of the house placement + aspects, both synastric and natal, taken in total; in this way the energy exchange becomes more balanced. This is when they work out the kinks. One person expects something & the other person goes along with it, but maybe they get tired & that aspect of the relationship needs to be negotiated, to define what roles each one will play & you get into the process of knowing someone at a deeper level than you first imagined.

By natal correspondences I'm referring to (for example),
(partner A - partner B)
Sun in Sagittarius - Sun in the 9th
Moon conj Venus - Moon in Taurus
Mercury in Capricorn - Saturn in the 3rd
Venus trine Uranus - Venus sq Uranus
Mars trine ASC - Aries ASC
^ Those are the like minds type of correspondences. Direct hits.

Then there are attractive correspondences that often take the place of classic synastry aspects,
(partner A - partner B)
Sun conj Venus - Venus in Leo (Sun/Venus)
Sun in Pisces - Mars trine Neptune (Sun/Mars)
Sun in the 4th - Moon in Cancer (Sun/Moon)
Venus in the 11th - Mars in Aquarius (Venus/Mars)
Moon in the 8th - Mars in Scorpio (Moon/Mars), etc.

The more of the above, from both categories, the more you'll click/recognize yourself in the other (or an intriguing specimen) & be willing to pursue the relationship. But I've found that the ones that bring people together the fastest/easiest are the like minds correspondences; those are the convos you have with another where it's like 'we're on the same page - i do that too - i have to deal with that as well - you spoke up and said something i was thinking but could not voice - the fact that we both like this song means something special about our interaction - we ordered the same drink at the bar.' Blah blah. They get giggly on their similarities to establish a bond.
