My Pisces friend says they can't hold water (not entirely sure what that means but she was alluding to the fact they're very much more emotional signs/people than they appear). Do you agree or disagree? IP: Logged |

I agree. My experiences with them are pretty bad, not gonna lie.P.S. They're still great people. I'm not 'bashing' ------------------ "I have a lot of chameleon qualities, I get very absorbed in my surroundings." -River Phoenix IP: Logged |

They have emotions and do express them to varying degrees but base their actions on ideals/sense of right and wrong, not their emotions. Emotional people base their decisions on their feelings. That would be Water. Earth would base their decisions on what is practical or most profitable. Fire would take the most exciting/stimulating option.IP: Logged |

i like having conversations with them we disagree on everything, but my gemini stuff likes that.but yeah, they can't let anyone in, or allow themselvs to get too senitmental and that annoys the crap out of me. my sisters an aquarius, and we'll get close every now and then, but she never allows herself to go past a certain comfort zone. and when she starts getting close to that point she puts up this barrior that anyone automatically knows not to cross. or she'll just get up and leave, etc. it's not like she has to do anything, but her inability to let herself go past a certain point is just so alien to me. i don't even think she lets her self get there when she's all alone in her room or idk maybe she does. idk hopefully she does cuz i don't see how you can grow/develop without 'watering' parts of yourself, at least every now and then another thing i've noticed that's annoying, but halarious at the same time is when you're texting with them, or chatting on line, they're the funniest, most enthusiastic ppl etc ever. then you get together with them face to face and they look so bored, mumbling responses, tired (?) etc. idk. and this in the same day. like 5 min earlier you're having a blast texting them, 5 min later you see them, and it's this almost depressed (?) person. all that said, they get under my skin in the worse way, but they always end up growing on me.....somehow....i think it's just the conversation, i always like talking to them. that urnius (air) combo blows my mind. if love and hate were on a circle continum they'd be right on the border, constatnly switching btwn the two. In my personal experience, the women have always seemed very boring on first impression and very difficult to figure out. The men have almost always been exceedingly outspoken and immature, or they've been under the unmerited impression they're geniuses.Aquarius Suns can either be very conservative or very liberal. It's probably the least clear-cut Sun sign, aside from Pisces who can be very insecure or very confident. IP: Logged |

What's your sun, alaz7200? I'm just wondering if perhaps you're a Leo, someone wrote here that we tend to have a "blind spot" for the sign that's opposite our sun or moon sign and I DO have trouble identifying or "figuring out" Leos and Virgos, especially on first impressions.IP: Logged |

Aquarius is for sure my blind spot. I'm a Leo. I worked with one aquarius. I thought he was so bizarre. I had just gotten transferred to the store. I was one of his bosses. First thing he said to me was "I got a puppy" before we ever were introduced He was nineteen. he would bring the strangest things to work for lunch. Like a full bag of Doritos, 4 hard boiled eggs and hi -c. That's just a guess but it was always a bizarre variety of food. He did a good job. Was kinda OCD like me with some things. Easily distracted. Good kid, though I really want to meet an (older than me) aquarius and date them. They're so mysterious to me IP: Logged |

Oh gosh... I've had a life full of Aquarians. There's always been at least one in my life. They seem to gravitate to me like magnets to steel. Crazy. Love 'em all. Probably because I am a bit of an odd-ball, and that's like catnip to them. They always seem fascinated with me in some way. While I'm talking, they always have some kind of half-smile on their faces. Like they're so grateful to find someone who "gets" it. Strangely, I've never really dated any Aquas, but two of the strongest crushes I've had in my life have been with Aqua men. Mostly unrequited, though. Bummer. IP: Logged |

I've always said that out of all the sun signs, Aquarians come in two varieties: the classic Uranian, odd-ball type or the Aquarians who are very odd but super reserved and almost seem uncomfortable with being an Aquarian. Most of the Aquas I know are the odd-ball kind although my cousin and his wife are the other variety and I have a hard time relating to them at all. I have Sun trine Uranus so I am pretty silly and often make very odd comments so I appreciate an Aquarian's uniqueness. I sometimes wish they would not say everything outloud that crosses their mind because that can have the effect of offending or alienating some people, however, maybe I just attract that type of Aquarius? In any event, it reminds me of kids who are at the stage of their lives where they will ask really blatant questions at inappropriate times which ends up being awkward, hilarious or both. ^ Interesting. I've only been close with the Saturnian Aquariuses. But they're prone to sudden breakaways. Like one of them was at the top of his class and followed all the rules until he suddenly ran away to the other side of the country when he was 16. Then he came back and picked up a Saturnian route. I can hardly wait to see what will happen when he has his Uranus opp, ha.IP: Logged |

The most recent aqua I met had grand plans to save humanity but is too damn racist (from what I have heard) to be taken seriously. Requires 100% honesty all the time but I am always left with odd feelings after every meeting wondering if I am getting the same in return and is too aloof/lacks passion of any sort for me to stay interested in for too long.IP: Logged |

My Jupiter is in Aquarius so I've learned a lot from Aquarians. They've helped me along the way and I do the same were I can. Its a hit or miss, some Aquarians I've formed long lasting great friendships and others not so much. My best female friend who is an aquarian, and yes guys can have platonic friendships. We always talk and share whats going on good and bad. There is a high level of trust between her and I, I mean I know things that her cancer partner doesn't even know. --------------------------------------- Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun, 5th House Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini Venus In Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

Makes no sense. You can save a dog without it taking you seriously. EDIT: I've had Aquarius Suns cry on my shoulder. Maybe because I have Moon in Aquarius so there was an emotional connection there. Who knows. But I have never known an Aquarius to make a major life decision based on emotions.

What about the Scorpy aquas? that's the one I am more familiar with coz they're born the same year as me and have mars, saturn, Pluto in Scorpio. IME they have a lot of anger. Must be from the sun squaring the Scorpio placements..IP: Logged |

I find them adroit, engaging, efficient. I love the intellectual rapport we have on first approach. Romantically, I keep them at an arms length. Odd, considering had my life went down it's planned path I would've been married to one: full moon Aqua & a full moon Gemini. As for your opposite sign being a blind spot, not true for me. Gemini, here. I get Sagittarius, I sync with Sagittarius, I want to be Sagittarius. Hold on - I have moon in Sagittarius. IP: Logged |

Carl: I know...I think Capriquarius was suggesting that the guy can still theoretically "save" humanity while looking down on the humanity he is saving. You might wonder, "What kind of savior talks like a redneck?" Well, arguably, Abraham Lincoln, the blatant racist who is credited with ending slavery in America. So, Capriquarius seems to be saying, it makes no sense to just outright assume that the racist friend in question is incapable of turning out like Lincoln. Right, Capriquarius? Anywho.... I LOVE AQUARIUS SUNS. I have an Aquarius brother, I can talk to him for hours on end and never get bored. I admit that I have known a few women born in the third decan who rubbed me the wrong way at first. They seemed condescending. I liked them better after we got acquainted. IP: Logged |

I only dated 1 aqua and he was very cold and unfeeling... He was very desentized, but that was more because he is a police officer. I guess he had just seen to much, that it just showed in his every day personality. IP: Logged |

All I remember from history class is that he ended slavery because it was in the best interest of the union. It wasn't a humanitarian thing. And I don't know how he talked. Are you referring to that thread you made about which sign would make the best leader? Re: the dog analogy.....dogs are pretty stupid. So are most humans. They could talk sh*t about you/sh*t on your carpet, but how is that gonna stop you from doing what you want? Which may or may not include somehow saving them. The dog could be starving and eat your food even if it hates you, and you dislike it because it slobbers and is out of control and lives for the moment. Some humans are like that too. IP: Logged |

Yes. A Divide & Conquer (see Ireland, India/Pakistan) scheme was in the works by the European powers. The South couldn't see this. IP: Logged |
