I have an Air Void. Voids are considered bad but some astrologers forget that there planets in Earth HOUSES can manifest as you have Earth influence. I have no planets in Air as I was saying but I do have Mars in 3rd house of Gemini. I love to taaaalk and I've been told I'm smart and fast thinker.IP: Logged |

Yep, I have 2 planets in an earth house.I don't think Voids are bad. I think the 12th house is bad, in terms of being hard.People get mad when you use the word bad. I don't but people seem to want political correctness. At any rate, the word difficult would be more apt as some things are difficult. What are you gonna do? Lie My larger point was that I don't think Voids are bad, per se. I think the person is forced to work really hard to overcome the Void. The person can shine as a result. However, the day to day workings of a Void are hard. Does that make sense lol ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think another "mitigating" factor for earth void can be plenty of Saturn contacts. I know people who have lots of water or fire in their chart but also have plenty of contacts with Saturn so they don't appear to feel the earth void and actually show an earthy approach/qualities like mindfulness to detail, practical considerations, etc.IP: Logged |

I have Moon trine Saturn at 7- 9 degrees(can't remember my Moon degree) and that is all. I can force myself to get grounded when I need to. It must be this. Other than that, Saturn doesn't touch anything, I don't think.I guess this is good ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

^^ Ami, check to see if Saturn touches any of your angles-ASC/DSC, IC/MC. This could also have a grounding effect tho' to a lesser degree than if a planet was involved with Saturn.**EDIT TO ADD** Or if any of your angles are in earth houses. IP: Logged |

Well, yes!My home – small as it is – is really disordered and I cannot get a job or plan my life well. I have no planet in earth signs, and only Mars in the second house in a natural earth house. It seems to make me focused too much on playing and discovering rather than work, so that I forget a lot about routine tasks although I can remember less important things and writings I last read fifteen years ago like the back of my hand – they never get out of my head! I only have 1 water placement, scorp Uranus and 1Earth virgo MoonBut I'm very emotional and sensitive, and I'm good at making order out of disorder....actually I love it, it's a passion. For water, I have Pluto on AC and conjunct Venus Pluto exact sextile Neptune and Nep is conjunct Sun/ Merc My Moon is in 12th, unaspected Sun/Merc in 2nd house Saturn in 10th exact trine Sun/Merc I believe the voids sometimes have more of that element than they realize but it's expressed in unique way, not typical but still the energy is there. What I notice from watery people is that they have natural sense of rhythm. I'm earth heavy. I need routines. I run 3 days a week. Get up the same time every day. My watery house mate however can just use her alarm clock and get up whenever. If she needs to do something, she goes through it like a tidal wave. And then she stops. To some extent its inconsistent but work still gets done. I just read a book called Daily Rituals and it details how famous writers, scientists, artists work. What I notice is some procrastinate a lot. I didn't look at their chart but I can kinda feel some were watery and some were earthy etc.I think that earth void people shouldn't feel bad that they are not wired to have routines or "order." Just learn to adapt to your own way of working. People like me have order and routines because we really ***need to, or we will end up in some asylum IP: Logged |

How would you qualify a void? A lack of planets in a certain element?IP: Logged |

Yep, I am an earth void, no planets in earth at all. And the natural earth houses in my chart have Pluto in 2nd, empty 6th and MC in 10th. I would love to be a lot more organized (and slightly tidier ) but it's just not that high on my list of priorities. Two of my best friends are Virgos (polar opposite to my sun) and among my other good friends, I notice they have a lot of earth placements too. (This only seems relevant to friendships not romantic relationships.) It's like a part of me craves that earthiness that I lack. In general, I think for me, having Saturn on the ascendant and the many aspects I have to and from Saturn, help ground me and counterbalance my earth void. I guess having MC in Taurus helps too as I'm extremely career driven. ☺

Yep. Total earth void here. 50% air, the rest fire and water. I'm so not practical and live in my mind. Housework and chores bore me to tears. IP: Logged |

I relate so much to what you said, I'm a water void but with Pluto on my AC conjunct Venus and exact sextile Neptune it's hard to feel like in a water void. I have so much feelings I just express them in more airy/fiery ways. I can detach from them more easily than a typical staight forward water sign because their energy comes through in a more detached manner. But when in love I feel so deeply it hurts at times to feel the depth. IP: Logged |

only planet in earth is Venus (ruling 5th, 6th and 10th). Moon in 2nd house, Pluto in 10th. I am a hopeless case when it comes to order in the home. Constant reason for discussions with my mother (Moon, Venus, Mars in Virgo)

I am earth void and I am proud of it. I may order things with a different system, but I order everything.
