Venus釦here may have been a lot of love in the home (protective and supportive of one another - concept of teamwork and loyalty very strong and still is with my immediate family/siblings, we're even known to help out those not as strong as others and those being taken advantage of by others)

Neptune釦here may have been many lies or deceptions in the home. A parent may have been a drug addict, even. Conversely, there may have been a lot of creativity in the home.
[true, there were times we'd make our own christmas ornaments and decorations, times when my mom would make our costumes (she was VERY creative and we each have our own creative abilities), there were also some drug issues growing up]

Hmmm, well, mine are in Taurus (IC and Venus) and for me it means having a beautiful, traditional home. My mother is and always has been a great cook and a wonderful host whenever people would come to visit. I think my Mom is my IC (she's Taurus Sun), while dad is MC in Scorpio (don't get me started). Our house was always clean and smelling like food lol. Now that I live by myself in a different city than my natal one, my apartment is my safe house, it is the place I can really be myself, whether that means crying my eyeballs out or goofing around dancing. I live alone and nobody comes to visit (I like it that way). I am a bit lazy sometimes and like to relax when I come home from work - dinner and a movie or bubble bath or some scented candles.

But *love* per se was kind of missing from my early years/family (I do also have Chiron on IC and it is more suited). I was an only child and it was terribly lonely for me. Parents kind of neglected me most of my childhood and father actually rejected me on several occasions. We're on better terms now because I am emotionally mature enough to not ask for more than they can deliver. Learned that lesson well.
I also feel a sense of devotion for my country (IC is also home land) and I think this aspect means I will not travel much/I will always return here. Being in opposition to MC, it links Venus to my career (plastic surgery).
Liz Greene says having Venus in the parental houses makes one prone to romantic triangles (as Venus in one of the parental houses makes one fall in love with the parent, hence leading to the initial love triangle: mother-father-child). True in my case.
