for instance, two examples:i have a friend with a conjunction sun-saturn in the 10 house. a person with sun in 10H tend to be successful and be visible in the career/public life. however saturn in 10 indicates hard way to get there. then saturn restric sun energy. wonder how this affect the sun in 10. another example. sun in 10, ruler of sun (saturn retrograde in house 2). how this sun in 10 is affected aby a ruler debilitated. again, i would like comments on experience and readings. and i can spare speculation for another post. thanks IP: Logged |

Well Saturn can both empower and debilitate, depends on the choices she makes about how to use its energy.You can certainly get ahead with Saturn in the 10th - Hitler had that! Saturn conjunct Sun is a drag (I have it), but it make her more of a late bloomer - more successful later on in life once she has got more wisdom and learned to harness Saturn's power. I don't know about the second one though. ------------------

Sun in the 10th = ego strives to be successful in one's social circle.Sun conjunct Saturn = "strict" ego, very controlled Saturn in the 10th = takes responsibilities associated with the 10th house (career, social standing) seriously So. Sun conjunct Saturn in the 10th would make someone be very serious about being successful and they're willing to put in effort to get there. I wouldn't say these are contradictory aspects at all. well, was thinking about hittler and he was successful, but also had lot of issues with authorities, he went to prisson. i read that sun in ten aflicted my mean conflicts with authorities. IP: Logged |

also i realized that my friend can be a late blummer as you said. he even has arthritis that has to do with this conjunction afflictedIP: Logged |
