I have a question for Moonfish because of what she'd said in a different thread. But others are welcome to chime in as I want to understand ...Hi Moonfish, I remember in one of your conversations with Ariesdragon, he'd asked you about the worst position for Pluto. If I remember correctly, you'd said 11H or was it 10H? Sorry can't remember the thread or I'd pull it up. I'd like to understand why you think this position is the worst for Pluto. Even if it's something obvious, please feel free to state it as I'm fairly new to astrology. Thank you, and sorry for making you feel a bit conspicuous by naming you in the thread title IP: Logged |

I would think that with those houses being in the upper hemisphere (your extroverted self) it would make one ruthless in the areas of the house that it rules. 10th house could make one prone to scandals (Richard Nixon) IP: Logged |

Hi Nice to meet you Linda, and you are correct. In my opinion the 11H is a hard placement for Pluto because scorpio (sex, death, transformation) rules pluto and the 11H deals with your social life, friends, groups etc. Being a Scorpio (sun, mars and pluto) myself, I don't feel comfortable in the spotlight and i'm very much a loner. Pluto isn't a social planet so I just think it would be difficult to balance pluto in the 11h out. In short it could possibly make you an outcast. That being said, It's not the worst placement to have in a natal chart. I actually wouldn't worry about it too much, seeing that pluto is generational. IP: Logged |

Thanks, cappy1277. So you think it would pretty much be houses 7 thro 11? I'm assuming in the 12th the influence would get watered down/dissolved?IP: Logged |

Are you comfortable with that placement or do you have other placements that make up for it? You're welcome Linda! I have seen people with 12th house plutos and they border on paranoid schizophrenia...lol. Well not literally but they become paranoid that people are alway out to get them and then try to get them first. It's hard to maintain a friendship with them when they are being that way. Hi Moonfish, nice to meet you too I remember you'd answered another ques. of mine on AD's thread on Lost Love ... about posting gifs. Thanks for explaining the difficulty Pluto faces in the 11th. Do you think Pluto here also would also find it difficult to show its scorpionic nature (versus its soaring-like-an-eagle nature). By this I mean when Pluto is vibrating to its "lower" energy level of wanting to control, in the 11th hse it would find it harder to do so as 11th hse has to do with large groups, and it's much harder to control large groups vs one or two or a few individuals? Thanks. IP: Logged |

I have Pluto in the 8H :] which is pretty nice since it's the original house for it. What helps in social department is Mercury in Sag 9H. I don't like to start a conversation but once I'm in one I can talk about anything lol. Sun conjunct Mars - trines Ascendant is pretty helpful too :] IP: Logged |

I see, that kinda sucks! A friend of mine dated a guy w/ 12H Pluto. He was bizarre in many ways. Very confusing. Had her coming and going so she couldn't make sense. Needless to say that relationship didn't last very long. IP: Logged |

I think what really depends on whether a Scorpio becomes an "eagle" or "scorpionic/snake" are how they handle the aspects in there chart. My idea is that having a lot of harsh aspects to Pluto 11H may bring out a bad rep (or maybe evening attracting the wrong people) - on the other hand, someone containing harmonious or no pluto aspects may possibly have an easier time dealing with this placement. Regardless, I'm sure there are people of high status who have Pluto 11H, as humans beings we always have free will to act however we want to. Astrology is like psychology, they tell us why we might make certain decisons in life, but we always have the power to follow it or fix it. Again, I'm a Scorpio sun, mars, pluto and a lot of people get surprised when they find out I'm a Virgin :] lol IP: Logged |

Moonfish,"Again, I'm a Scorpio sun, mars, pluto and a lot of people get surprised when they find out I'm a Virgin :] lol" Good for you! I absolutely LOVE it when stereotypes get bashed. And you're right about astrology guiding us not compelling us. IP: Logged |
