Topic: No planets in the 11th or 5th house

I have heard that no houses in the 5th house means no kids? :O I want kids! And also 11th house means adoption or other's kids? No planets there either except for the true node. Am I barren or just paranoid? xDIP: Logged |

An empty 5th does NOT mean you won't have kids. That's absurd.Queen Victoria had like 10 kids and had an empty 5th. Look at the ruler of your 5th and what aspects it makes. IP: Logged |

Empty houses such as a empty 5th house can be interpreted as either kids not being a majority priority in your life but NOT that you wont have them. Your 5th house is probably one of those houses you don't have to develop, it

Looking at the rulers of the houses, gives you more info... Not everyone will have planets in H5.. I have no planets in H5 or H11.. I have 2 kids. The moon rules my 5th
Saturn rules my 11th.

Technically having a full 11th house doesn't guarantee you'll have a lot of adopted children. It could mean many things, ranging from a lot of group involvement, a focus on humanitarianism, or working with the masses to better the conditions of something - whether it's being a Green Peace advocate or a famous member of the U.N. to even a movie star who is known for their extensive charity work. A lot of celebrities who engage in charity works or working to benefit large amounts of people have one or more well-aspected 11th house planets it seems. I know Angelina Jolie has this. Yes she did end up adopting too, I admit that. But still, I hope that gives you a good example. I think 11th house planets CAN increase the chances of adopting maybe also if they aspect your Moon? I have Venus con. Jupiter in H11 sextile my Moon and I am going to adopt. But don't let having zero H11 planets keep you from adopting. I think some people out there have the potential to be great adoptive parents, not an extraordinary amount but some do. I'm sure some of them had zero H11 planets too. Also do NOT freak about empty 5th house. It doesn't mean you'll have no children! A lot of people have an empty 5th and still have kids.  ------------------

I have an empty 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th & 12th house.Look at the ruler of that house. Say your 5th is in Taurus, looks to Venus (ruler of Taurus), where Venus is located is a way you can release this energy - ie say yoru venus is in cancer 8th house, you show your flair & creativity when nurturing deep emotions IP: Logged |

I don't want kids, and I have no planets in the fifth. Works fine for me!I have two planets in the 11th, and my friendship-life really sucks. (As in, I do not have the kinds of relationships that I would like). And I have zero interest in adopting. I do not want children under absolutely any circumstances and, within myself, am militantly childfree, after having done a lot of research, thought, prayer, and reflection on the issue of children many times. I actually, to be honest, am considering entering religious life when I am older. Not 100% sure, but remain open to that possibility. (NOT going to argue the kids thing with anyone, either). So yeah, planets-in-houses do NOT determine your fate. Also, relationships. Plenty of people without planets in the 7th get married. Most people do marry at some point. Whether the relationships are happy or satisfying is debatable and varies, but my point is that most people, including those with empty 7th houses, do marry/date. So, don't worry about it. Genetics/health + free will would be what would really determine whether or not you have kids. Genetics/health can determine fertility. Free will can determine whether or not you use protection or not. Economics would also play a role (as in being able to afford contraception or not/being able to afford children or not).

I would agree with all of those things as determinants, and then I would also add astrological influence (certain planets in the fourth or fifth house can lead to miscarriage due to mental hang-ups or fears), and also culture/location (because a lot of women live in places where they have access to safe medically-assisted abortions, but not all women do). Actually, the majority of women in the world live where they do not have access to safe, medically-assisted abortion and then conduct UNsafe ones and often die (this was depicted in "Revolutionary Road.")
