He is a capricorn( don't know time and place where he was born). I am a scorpio, AC Virgo, Moon Virgo, Mars Cancer, Pluto Scorpio, and Venus, Neptune and Uranus is Capricorn.

We are close friends and have been for a couple of years. We rarely hang out just the two of us. We are usually a group of friends.
But when we do hang out, we can sit and just talk for hours. We have such a good chemistry.

When we're drunk, we always end up together. We kiss and cuddle, and we had sex once.
And everything is perfectly fine between us. No awkwardness at all. I would say our relationship grew stronger and better after the sex. We always blame the alcohol, but for how long are we gonna do that? That excuse ain't gonna last forever. He told me just wanted to be friends, but I am not a 100% sure of that. I think he might be a bit confused.

Which makes me really confused.
Why does he flirt with me, give me compliments, we end up having sex and cuddle, and he even invited me out for dinner, if he just wants to be my friend??
And the dinner we went to...He was really cute and charming that day, he even paid the dinner and drinks. We talked a lot about our future, and how we want to find someone to spend our lives with, kids, education, jobs, where we wanted to live. I was surprised we had so much in common!

What is happening between us? Does he really want to stay just friends, or did he say it just because he is afraid to lose me and scare me away or something?

We have such a good friendship, good chemsitry, common friends, I like his family and his family likes me, we want a lot of the same things in life, we trust each other and respects each other, and I know he care for me and appreciate me. I've never felt more appreciated by anyone else than him. And of course there are some physical attraction here.. Or else we wouldn't end up having sex.

Hmm that about covers it. And the above also applies to Venus in Cap. One Cap Venus guy I know doesn't like "alternative"* cr@p, so it's a safe bet to suppress your "alternative" side until he's putty in your hands, then you can have a ball freaking him out and post all about it on LL

Anyway, can you tell me your birthdays? I will look it up in my Relationships book if you like. I'm of the opinion that actual birthdays matter a great deal. Some Cap/Scorpio couples work out better than others for the long run.

One pertinent factor may be his age because he may not be ready for a commitment. Not to sound perverse, but from my mindset, a committed relationship can be viewed as a hinderance to career development or achievement of success targets. I disappointed more than my share of girls when young by telling them I was "too young" or "not ready" for a serious relationship.

In fact, I intentionally held off on anything serious until my late 20s after I had established a successful career and accumulated substantial wealth, enough to outright buy a home without a mortgage. My girlfriends back then were all super motivated and success driven (being Capricorns and Tauruses themselves). After I attained my benchmark, I just wanted to get married as soon as possible.

The fact that you had fun times with him and consummated sexual relations shows that he has fun with you. Unfortunately, "fun times" and "committed relationship" don't jive too well within the twisted male Capricorn mindset (and I'm not saying that this may be very true for him). In my convoluted mindset (and probably mine only and not anyone else), having "fun times" places you in the "friend zone." It's hard coming out of the "friend zone."

I did have sex with my young girlfriends, but most of the relationship centered around wealth, achievement and success. It was mutually beneficial in that aspect. We worked together on getting the best possible grades in school and the best jobs and/or medical school.

Sorry but being drunk doesn't register well with me because it's something I wouldn't have ever done, or I would ever do, being the Capricorn I am.

I think all the Caps on this forum are sold on the idea that one needs to see the whole chart to give you any worthwhile input.

Scorpio and Capricorn are sextile and do get along. But for anything more specific, we need more information.
