In fact, he has every planet except Neptune, Mars and Saturn in the 10th, which is ruled by Mercury/Virgo.

I think traditional astrology would tell you that it's no good news, because the ruler of sorrow/endings is coupled with the ruler of partnership/marriage. You get the idea.

In modern interpretation though, *I think* it could mean that he may meet his SO at hospital, in prison (lol), or any other institution. Also, he may need some level of sacrifice/compassion/spirituality in his close relationships.

Being that the aspect is Venus conjunct Pluto, with Moon in the middle of the conjunction, do you think this would intensify his spiritual experience of or expectations for his wife? (he's already married)

Yes I think so.
He is probably very intense himself, or his wife is. Sometimes men project their Venus/Moon onto their partners so his wife may be very demanding or possessive and intense. But it probably goes both ways, and I'd imagine their relationship isn't all smooth and peaceful.
