Yes, I think it's paranoiaThere was a recent thread like this, and I will mention again that I have Sun-Mars-Pluto conjunction in Scorpio 8H, it trines my Pisces ascendant. Men do not see me as sexual and I don't get stares, in fact, it's quite the opposite. To most guys I'm like the "lil sister they've always wanted" at least I've been told something along those lines several times :] Do you have any squares/oppositions to your mars? I think harsh aspects demand attention, whether you want it or not. IP: Logged |

It could be a mix if several things. Someone with Aquarius on the Ascendant might appear to be very cool on the surface. In addition to having a powerful presence that people can sense through your 8th house Mars energy. Maybe they sense your intensity but are equally intrigued and confounded by your aloof disposition. Do you consider your 8th house energy dangerous because of the effect it has on people? Drawing all kinds of attention towards yourself, specifically unwanted attention. In a sense all energy is neutral. It's just how you use it and what channels you use to express it that influences it's effect in the outside world. I'm a fellow Aqua Rising with planets in the 8th. Nice to meet you. IP: Logged |

It wouldn't be dangerous most of the time... unless you're out by yourself at 3 am in some bad neighbourhood wearing stilettos and hot pants. Otherwise - don't stress about it! It's not a bad thing. If you are young and sexually attractive, this will happen often. It just happens... because a majority of men identify as being hetero & they have a sex drive and fantasies and they are also more visual than women... so there is nothing unusual about this.

I also just wanna say I ride the public bus, or my bike to school everyday. A couple times rode home at night, and I've been fine :/ IP: Logged |
