So, I am at stalemate with my leo friend. Honestly he drives me mad! I love lively conversation and the way he intuitively seems to know I am thinking before I say it. But, we wind each other up but in some way this is exhilarating to me too. I read Linda Goodman said leo and saggies test each other? My leo friend has aries moon and i have leo moon so is kind of explosive. There is also a huge physical attraction but not sure he is not going to drive me crazy in the meantime.

Is this usual for leo/saggie energy?

In Linda's book (Love signs, I think) it also says that not all Leo/Sag pairings benefit from the energy of the trine. Leo and Sagittarius will either get on with each other well, or the Sagittarius just doesn't get Leo and vice versa. The latter has been my experience unfortunately :/

I do agree with the physical attraction, or at least it's true with me. Then again my ascendant is in Sagittarius...so naturally I'm physically attracted to Sagittarius suns. I do think they test each other, lol. You have two fire signs with big egos so of course. And the Sagittarius will question Leo's so called "authority" or opinions.

Well, I guess I didn't always get on with the Sagittariuses in my life because they had Scorpio Mercury to my Leo Mercury...so communication is often like "Um...what?" And their planets were in Scorpio and Capricorn...planets that are not outwardly expressive as Leo or Taurus like in my chart.

Exactly! I do have leo moon which is a good thing? But it means my leo friend knows me tooooo well! So when he begins his lectures, I don't wish to pay attention just out of being rebellious. At the heart of it we have a good friendship, and amazing physical attraction but I would like to quit the game playing but it is part of the energy i guess. He gets little jealous when I am with guys or have guy friends (which I do) and it is all honest and platonic from my viewpoint but he seems to like to confirm this.

My ex was an aires sun/scorpio moon and I could not handle the scorpio part though I loved the aries energy. I think leo and scorpio moons are squared right?

Perhaps I am going off on a tangent, but Leo and I have mercury in the same signs as our suns (his in leo mercury and mine in saggie, and I feel I could tell him anything! Feels very comfortable and we talked about us entering into a relationship recently...).

Just not sure if the double lots of leo/saggie energy is too much...

Since your Mercuries are both in fire, I think that helps you get each other better too.
The only problem I can think of with fire/fire type pairings is that they can burn out incredibly fast. Someone has to put their foot down and say "SLOW DOWN" every once in a while, lol...but I think that's less of a problem if you guys are just friends. Scorp and Leo are indeed square, and a fixed square at that...so the disagreements can be intense and both sides unrelenting.

i get along better with Mercury based Suns (gemini/virgo).

Sagittarius energy revolves around Knowledge and knowing.
Leo energy revolves around how to apply knowledge, aka Wisdom.

these energies can get on well or they can end up competing with each other, leo has to be right (self righteous) sagittarius believes in what they know.

i think the combination of aries energy between you, sagittarius energy, and leo energy makes you both competitive, self righteous, and intelligent and both have to either compete, be right, or prove one another wrong when you disagree. fire is a leadership energy i guess.

if a man and a woman argue, i think its a good sign in some ways

i forgot to mention, its not just the Energy that revolves around the knowledge for sag, and the wisdom for leo, its their Egos too, thats where it gets competitive.

Oh yes. But having a leo moon, I almost feel that I counter my free loving saggie sun energy. I am actually quite mutable and think tooo much with love planets libra in venus/mars. Communication is key in this connection with this particualar leo, we talk all the time, even if tough topics or testing each other's feelings.

I admit I am the first to get little exhausted with it and normally iniate a change or an apology (Only if I am actually in the wrong).
