But, with twins born, say, minutes apart with nary a degree between their ascendants...I'd say nature vs. nurture comes into play. And even then, they may naturally draw off of different planets in their chart or something. That could explain differences in personalities.

In the article they said it was speculated to be due to genetic reasons.

But, i'm rooting for the idea that it's due to them having identical natal charts. lol. pffft obviously...genetics..haha. Does that even exist??

In the case of twins, even identical twins don't have the same genetic make up. Much in the same way, even identical twins don't have the same chart. A few minutes, heck even a few seconds, can make all the difference in the world.

Even if identical twins DID happen to be born at the same exact time, with the same exact chart... the Nurture coming in through the Astrological filter would effect the nature (genetic make up) differently. For example, both twins could share an aspect for a tendency to alcoholism... but genetically only one twin has the gene for it. If the Nurture coming in represses the alcoholism tendencies correctly, then one twin may become an alcoholic (or not) and the other twin won't.

If both twins happened to be born at the same time, with the same genetic make up (impossible but for hypothetical purposes)... they would still be different because no matter how similar people are they are never treated exactly the same way or have exactly the same experiences.

For example, a mother tries to keep things balanced between the twins, so every other day she hugs the other one first when putting them to bed. One day the moon is transiting Venus directly for the twins, the next day it isn't... so it's not exactly the same experience no matter how much thought and love she puts into it.

That may lead to people asking, well then why is Astrology important, and why are there these patterns, how can anyone say anything about Astrology if Nature and Nurture have such a large effect on a person. To me, Astrology is what I call "Rounding Chaos". You can observe it in loose generalities but not pin point exactness... it works a lot like quantum mechanics (if you know anything about observation/measuring in quantum mechanics you might get the idea of what I'm trying to say here), only equal and opposite.
