Usually we understand eachother pretty well. we're on the same wavelength. But now, I don't understand him at all. We share pisces moon, maybe that's why, it's all very blurry and confusing and like.. verbal diarrhea.
We are/were good friends. He is a master at joking everything serious away, usually. Changing topics.

Does anyone have experience with this combo?

I think the most important thing is to look at aspects you share with mercury.

My oldest brother has cancer sun and pisces moon. He has venus in gemini. I don't remember his mercury. Probably gemini. He is pretty sensitive and it easy to make him cry when he gets emotional about something. He even cried at his wedding when they were praying. He is also extremely smart and his mind works very quickly. It almost seems like he has ADD sometimes or it can even come across as rude because he is already on to a new topic of interest when people are still talking about something else. He is self taught with computers and is a software engineer at a tech company. He is also really spiritual and I would consider him well rounded. He can talk about politics, conspiracy theories, have fun, etc. His wife is a Leo with a cancer moon and mercury in gemini. I have never heard anybody who talks so much in my life but for some reason they get along just fine. I think he calms her down a bit lol. He treats women really well. He can empathize with females and I think he has a very feminine presence so girls like that. At the same time he is very assertive and has high standards. He will treat people good but he will also feel them out and can psychically sense things so if you hurt him or he sees a side of you he does not like...he will protect himself and stay away from you or lose interest. I am a cancer as well. My moon is in aquarius though.

He has mercury conjunct sun like me. (Sun in cancer mercury in gemini (cusp). I have sun, mercury leo) We share Mercury square Jupiter as well.

(He has mercury oppositon neptune, mercury square saturn etc Venus Cancer. Mars gemini.) (I have Mercury conjunct venus, mercury square pluto, mercury square jupiter, mercury trine saturn. Venus, Mars leo)

He loves to talk to me (and others, but mostly me) I never come across anything like it. He is very sensitive and hates conflicts and rudeness. He never forgets anything.
He is very secretive and rarely reveals anything close to heart, but still, loves to talk about everything else.
He has told me that he finds it relaxing and "free" to speak to me, so when I am not relaxed but angry at him - for complicated reasons - well, it's no good...

I dated a Cancer Sun, Pisces Moon, Gem Merc, Cancer Venus, Gem Mars fellow.
Hey I just re-checked his chart they must have been born close to each other, my guy had Merc sq Saturn too but out of sign.
My Moon/Venus was on his ASC, his Venus on my NN, our ASC opposed, his NN on my ASC.
But no brick wall there; we connected and felt simpatico from the beginning.
Maybe he really needs that soul connection, did something interfere with your connection to him?

...It turns out he that he is sun cancer, moon pisces and has leo rising! (venus cancer in the 12th house) I am sun leo, moon pisces and asc cancer. Strange?!?!?
Not only are we similar, but he is very similar to my ex bf. Something I picked up on from the start. He was also a leo asc, pisces moon and venus cancer.

Our brickwall has dissolved, but I had a look at our composite chart - there's 4 planets in cancer in the 12th house :/
