Here we had Pluto in Cancer [Sign of Financial Security] and Uranus in Aries [Sign of Risky Entrepreneurial Businesses/Stocks]. No surprise, this was the period of the Great Depression where all stocks crashed after a wave of over-speculation and greed.

1870s:
Pluto in Taurus [Sign of Real Estate, Creature Comforts] and Uranus in Leo [Sign of Self Attention, Individual Fame].
Strangely, we had an international economic crisis in this period. There was huge expansion of land under official [winning] government where Native Americans lost out in USA and many third world countries lost out to British Colonialism.

1820s:
Pluto in Pisces and Uranus in Sagittarius.

Yet again, a period of economic panic though not like the Great Depression. The Signs are more into Spirituality and Truth Seeking.
And thus, the Second Great Awakening gathered full steam in this period, with plenty of small churches, denominations and revivalist congregations being formed in the United States. Millions were enrolled.

So what can we expect this time round?
Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries.
We have already suffered some effects of financial crisis a couple of years earlier. Recovery has been slow.
Big corporations are getting hit with scandals. Many Start ups and "Guerilla" Companies are succeeding.
Seismic Activity is intense [Capricorn does figure heavily in Eart5hquakes].
We have seen democratic revolutions in the Arab Street, and at the same time many tragic assassinations because of organizations like ISI of Pakistan and sabotage because of the usual rogue suspects within MI6, Mossad and CIA who need a warring world to justify their existence.

The biggest missing factor has been a powerful Scientific Discovery or a powerful new invention. Since Capricorn rules the orthodox traditions, the discovery should break all traditional modes of thought.

I predict we will either see Evidence of DNA in Exosolar Planets or there will be anomalous discoveries about Human DNA or even Human Consciousness. There will most likely be a 9 level tremor before this aspect veers off. And surprising changes in governments or policies across the world are certain as establishment favorites bite the dust. "Pirate Parties" may win more seats, ethnic minorities may win more seats in all nations.

Uranus on the other hand, is the 21st Century. It represents radical changes in electronics and new wave thinking.

Uranus has the square influence with Pluto from now through 2019.

I can not speak on a Worldly basis such as you, iQ, but I would like to sound my opinion of how I see current events.

The influences represented by Uranus, helped bring into the new age World, the introduction of advanced electronics. These new advances have brought on new wave thinking and behavior World wide. This includes the new spin on commercial financing and banking, where new banking practices have quickly wiped out the old ways of banking practices. The square influence of UR on P coincides with the miss calculation of bankers that have caused financial pressures and stresses World wide. It is up to the various governments (Capricorn - SA) to find new solutions in governing banks too big to fail, now. Otherwise, a global financial crash may be in the works. The old ways of regulating banking must die - in order for the new to get started. This is the influence of P tearing down the obsolete and giving birth to a new order. But, we are in the early stages of UR square P. The massive discarding of the old and building a new hybrid financial institution will, understandably, take time and effort. However, from my vantage point, I can tell that the efforts may bear real fruit - as JP (government law) will be soundly trine UR at the end of 2019.
