Unfortunately I also have the fixed star scheat conjunct my venus which seems to make me unlucky in love. (Thank god I don't have a malefic planet here)

My experience is that we as pisces in venus are about beauty of things we love unconditionally and we are idealistic. Alcohol and other mind altering substances can further enhance our views and we tend to be at an advantage while imbibing with a partner. What I mean an advantage is that with alcohol we are able to greatly enhance our fantasy structure and we are able to hit buttons that might normally be closed off.

As mentioned mars also plays a role. His mars in cancer is in detriment which makes him act in emotional and nuturing ways as it relates to sex.

Venus 28 deg 56'

I do have Jupiter conjunct Venus 12' orb with a girl I'm casually dating. It tends to make arguing nearly impossible and fun is unavoidable.

Well, lol that solves that! Your moon is Cancer, his Sun is Cancer, you have Mars in Leo, his Venus is in Leo. Think all of that speaks for itself.

I have mars in cap in the 12th conjunct the ascendant orb of 3 deg 45'

My guess that ViP Pisces works very well if the mars is in exalted capricorn.

Mars in capricorn puts action down for fasntasy/illusion dream world of venus in Pisces.
