We all know that our personalities are much more than our individual astrological components, but how do you (or someone you know) really manifest one of your given placements? For me, most don't/can't guess at my "Piscesness" right off (at least in person), but I remember being a child and thinking, "I can't wait until I stop growing...then I can finally wear worn-in shoes..." My little Taurus Sun daughter upon getting a variety of plants / seedlings from my mother for her birthday: "OHHHH! They're all so beautiful!!!" And if you ask my Gemini Sun / Saggie Moon husband a question about (nearly) any topic, you're likely to hear, "Well, I don't know that much about it, but..." followed by 30 minutes to an hour of a detailed, engaging explanation. How about you? IP: Logged |

My mom used to get annoyed with me and say I was being "so Aquarius" whenever I would say, "I know, I know," when she would tell me something I already knew, which was often.IP: Logged |

Outwardly or around people, I don't always act like my sign but at home, my mirror is suddenly my best friend. I'm not narcissistic, I promise. :P I do get grumpy when I'm ignored.IP: Logged |

I hollered "i know that mom"way too many times. People always say "you are so weird, or you are an interesting character. My leo sun, moon, ascendant brother(all on the cusp of virgo) tells me i am to d@mn stubborn, even though he is triple fixed just like me. He is very loud and animated, but wants to know all the little mundane details(virgo) and is very critical.IP: Logged |

Hahaha! Apparently I'm an overbearing (otherwise sweet) blunt b!tch with a contagious enthuziasm and a love for speed. Oh, and I've been told by my exes I'm too proud and dominating. Aries Sun, Sag Moon - if you can't handle the heat, get out of my way! IP: Logged |

Leo Sun, Gem moon, Cappy rising. She is THE princess. I tried to make things very neutral for her, but this is the path she has chosen. Princesses, pink, sandals, dolls, etc. She does love to be outside though. Hair down, barefoot and ALWAYS in a dress. IP: Logged |

^ An actual quote from my Leo Asc daughter: "My birthday is on Earth Day and every day is Earth Day so it's like every day is my birthday!" As my husband and I say (after she leaves the room): "RAWR!" IP: Logged |

LOL I love that . My daughter is absolutely the sweetest child, BUT, she does say "Mumma, tell me I look beautiful." or "Mumma, say good job" when she does something like put her toys away or finish a painting. Linda said you MUST praise and snuggle Leo children constantly. And that's what I do. LOL. She does have Venus in Cancer and Virgo Mars, so she is moody and a bit neurotic with cleaning. Ahhhh my little first born. IP: Logged |

-" I love your walk it's full of confidence ..." a girl told me this a month ago, she's not the only one ... but the way she said it got me thinking about my sun sign -a lot of compliments about my body ( taurus venus, venus strongest in my chart ) - My eyes get complimented often ... I noticed that people with leo, scorpio and cancer influences like my eyes a lot... so I guess the Aqua rising plays out well in this one - My mom is a virgo and she always has a hard time with me since I'm very unorganized ( Aqua rising ) - "why are you always late ?" , " I don't think you follow the rules or love doing so, I think you should reconsider this point " agaiiin aqua rising - I once said that my voice is a bit low for a girl , then a girl told me: " don't be stupid, your voice is sexy! " Mercury in the 3rd house aries aspecting mars, pluto, uranus, neptune, BML, Lust, Eros, and psyche - " Lord!! you're unbearable when you're mad! " the famous aries temper IP: Logged |

YES! We've actually instituted a "compliment circle" in our house because she'd get sooo defensive when we complimented anyone else (*cough*her*sister*cough*). As soon as she chimes in with, "What about me?!?", she has to stop and say, "Yes, I agree...I also think that F____ is [something nice]." He'll then say, "Thank you, M___ - I think that you're [something nice]." The "what about me"s just go to be too much. She, too, is the sweetest, most loving little girl - but she needs that recognition. Even though it's not her Sun, she positively purrs when she gets it. She's also pretty sure that her blonde hair (her mane) is just fan-tas-tic (she's the only blonde in the house...actually, she said that she hopes that the new baby isn't blonde, "So my hair's still special.") My youngest, on the other hand, has a Saggie Asc and is the biggest goofball in the world. Another actual conversation: My youngest - I like Spongebob. Me - Yeah, he's silly. My youngest - A good kind of silly, though. If you drink seawater, you'll get a bad kind of silly. I would /never/ drink seawater... ...unless I was drunk, then I might drink seawater. I don't want to be drunk like the teacher-lady in "Annie". Nope. It's bad to be drunk and drink seawater. IP: Logged |

Ghanima & mockingbird: your children are a feast for the eyes! My Leo rising, Leo SN son hollers "What about ME?" all the time. Let's see, I've been told by a few people that they were intimidated by me, my serious expression, my apparent intelligence, when they first met me. Cap sun. Over time they realized I am very accepting, Pisces moon, and weird, Aquarius Mercury, and laugh a lot, Leo rising. But the Cap sun is still there. My husband hates my determination: "I KNOW you! Once you set your mind on something, you never quit!" I've also heard, "You are so damn logical!" like it's an insult. (Edited, I thought all pics were from ghanima at first. Lots of cute kids around here! ) IP: Logged |

Once I lived with this primadonna/airhead roommate who responded to basically everything I ever said with, "And what does that mean?" I would blame my Mercury in Pisces for whatever theoretical vagaries are implied in "stop f--king using my stuff all the time," but honestly it felt like a cheap remark aimed at making my verbal style seem all "head in the clouds" when it really was easy to comprehend with a tiny bit of effort./typical Piscean semblance of victimization IP: Logged |

My (also Aqua sun) bf texted me today after I was being obstinate about somesuch thing "I love my little pain in the a$$" and I retorted "takes one to know one". I MAY be a bit stubborn... Three of my personal planets being in Aquarius. My virgo sister - cries after every exam at nursing school, panic stricken, only to recieve top marks. Libra mother - Constantly redecorating her house. Everything is fall colors/rusts and warm cozy tones. She always says "I love pretty things". Virgo dad- spent an HOUR trying to get the tiny screw back in my glasses. He happened to have not only one, but THREE tiny screw glasses repair kits on hand. LOL. IP: Logged |

I especially like that your Dad has three tiny screw repair kits! Hmm...what else...? My Mom, a Pisces Sun, promised she'd write me every week while I was in Basic training. I went through the entire thing with no letters from my Mom. It turns out she did write me every week, even addressed them...just didn't get them in the $%^$%^& mailbox My Cancer Sun / Cancer Moon brother announced when he was 12 that "he always wants to live with his Mom." (And, yes, he still does.) The same eldest daughter has a Gemini Moon, Venus, Mars stellium in the 11th House and may actually be the most talkative person I've ever known. Also, we'll be out and about, and she'll say, "Oh! Look! That's one of my best friends!" (pointing to another girl). I'll ask, "What's her name?" "...I...don't remember...Hm." IP: Logged |
