Topic: Is this one sided obsession?? Please help

Hello All! I'm a newbie. And I am looking for some insight. Here my situation. I work with this man who is not at all a type that I would typically be attracted to. But I am helplessly in love (prob more lust - I don't know) with this man. Think of him all the time and I believe he feels the same about me. But I think because of our circumstances we cannot express ourselves. When I am around him there is so much tension. Sometimes I just want to run from him. It's crazy. I yearn to be near him, have a electric buzz when I am in the same area with him and then when confronted by him the energy is so intense I have to get away from him. It's so exhausting. Is this all one sided - in my head? Does he feel the same things? Is this controllable? I think I might even look for another job. Help!

Hi Lisa, I really can feel your pain, I;ve been in the exact same situation with very similar feelings. If you want to get more insight into your synastry put up a synastry chart in Personal Readings. Hopefully someone will take a look.  I really wish I sould give you something I;ve learned from the situation but I havnt come to a conclusion myself yet. Just remember to stay yourself through the process. My advice is, dont leave that job, stay and try and get closer adn see what happens. I made the mistake of leaving the job, and I regret it. I know with you feeling this way, very unaspected at at work, so intensly really makes it hard, makes you want to take the easy way out but you will keep wondering after, and its better to take a chance than wonder for ever. AAAHHHHHHH!!
This totally sounds like something I went through myself. Last year.
I had just started learning about astro, like deeper than sun signs etc., and met someone (at an internship) that just blew my socks off. Couldn't put my finger on it, but I had/have a boyfriend, and I was/am really questioning if I'm just a nut or if what I was feeling was something bigger.
I have Neptune smack dab on the ascendant, with Venus inconjunct both, and Sun trining them by around 5-6* orb. So I was wondering if I was just seeing this person through Neptune gaga glasses or what. Plus I have Sag ascendant, and Gemini descendant, and I had been reading things about how basically it might be hard for me to settle down, blah blah.
Anyway, it's still driving me crazy, and I guess I was just so elated to hear someone else wondering if they were going a little nutty too!PS, it took me a long time to figure it out, but if you want to post pics, such as your chart, or synastry charts or whatever, you can save an image to your computer, then upload it to an image hosting site (like tinypics.com). And you have to use special "UBB Code", which basically means you put [IMG] before the link to the pic and [/IMG] at the end of the pic link. And, I would recommend using a program like "Paint" on your computer to edit/delete out the birth info on your or Especially someone else's chart.
And, if you want to learn more about the UBB Codes, then just go to "Add Reply", and on the left of the part where you put your message just click on the part that says "UBB Code is ON", and you'll learn all kinds of stuff about it!
Sorry if you already knew all of this, I guess I just really wished someone had laid it all out there for me because I can be kind of a dum dum with all of this computer stuff!

I had to respond to this because I went through the same thing a few years ago. you described it exactly as I would have, especially the electric buzz and intensity but the needing to run from it because it is simply too much to take. Do you have heavy saturn in synastry with him? I basically attributed the fear I felt to a DW sun/saturn and venus opposite saturn. We also had DW sun/pluto, DW venus/mars and DW sun/neptune. Also, alot of nodal contacts. No, I don't think it is one sided. My take is to feel that kind of intensity you must both be feeling and feeding off of the energy. Even though its very intense and the energy is off the charts, do you also feel a sense of peace and "at home" when you are around him?? IP: Logged |

Yes I definitely feel at home with. We are completely different people. But I feel like I'm supposed to be with him. I felt that way as soon as we met. When we talk on the phone his voice soothes me. It's so strange. I'm not too good with the aspects but i posted our synastry and composite chart in the personal area - if you wanted to take a peak. The whole experience is exciting and exhausting - and we're aren't even in a personal relationship. I know it would be soo intense if we took it a step further....

omg...I know exactly how you feel, especially hearing his voice, instantly soothing, just made me feel better. And the fact that it never felt quite like a real relationship but yet I just KNEW him from the moment we met. We both seemed to run from the intensity. I could never understand how I could feel such deep emotion and knowing after just meeting him. It still to this day is an experience I will never quite understand. It was heaven and hell but I learned so much about myself and felt there was a reason behind it. I will take a look at the charts but I am terrible at reading them. I am wondering if you are going through any pluto transits right now, specifically venus/pluto?
