Libra's are being tested like crazy, with recent Transiting Sun & Mercury in Aries, and now Transiting Venus is Retrograde. Since Venus is Libra's Ruler, it's a triple whammy.

From what I've been able to read so far, it seems the "Venus" effect is more important than it being in the Sign of Gemini. In other words, it has more to do with Venus "values" than it being about "communication in love" (Venus in Gemini).

Now that I realize what's going on with this Transiting Retrograde Venus in Gemini, I realize my decision to post a question today about the value of my relations has everything to do with it.

My Ascendent is in Taurus, also Ruled by Venus. Quadruple whammy.

And the Transit is in the last Degrees of my 1st House & entering my 2nd House, which is a Venus House. Quintuple whammy!

So much of this Transit has to do with "value".

Like lalalinda just said to me, my Cancer Moon is playing on my doubts. Woke up in one of those panics last night. This is really cutting thru to my core, and I'm still exhausted from the Aries Transits. Yes, sleeping more...

^ Ah! You're just like me. 2nd house Gem. Taurus rising, and Moon in Gem. Along with Venus... Don't know. t.Venus went stationery directly on my n.Moon. I did find myself reevaluating two relationships. It's all internal stuff though. Nothing seems to be happening "in the real world."

So far that seems to be the general feeling I am getting. I have been reevaluating my friendships with a lot of my friends but I think that primarily has to do with graduation and the massive number of people I know who are getting married.

Basic rule of thumb is to find the sign that a planet goes rx in and that will determine
the main issue/position/question and then you apply that to the planets sign and house location as well as the retro planet's ruler and where it is deposited.

So Venus in Gemini is about communications/siblings and all 3rd house issues. Where your venus is plotted and the houses where you have taurus/libra on the cusp will determine where those 3rd house issues will manifest themselves.

Like you said this transit will hit you hard with your ascendant in taurus as it will force you to internalize issues with 3rd houses issues with love, children, games etc i.e venus issues and how those two apply to you directly.

3rd house and venus issues will also force you to reflect and think about how those issues realte to your second house finances etc.

To anyone else with insight, and also in response to

Thefish -

You packed a lot in your response, but I'm trying to follow.

So can you help walk me thru it?

So my 3rd House Cusp is in Cancer, and my Moon is in Cancer in the 3rd House. For some reason, this seems strange. Can anyone elaborate?

Then you say "where your Venus is plotted" - So, my Venus is in Virgo in the 4th House. Can you see the weird connection it makes to what I wrote above regarding the involvement of my Moon?

Then you said, "the houses where you have taurus/libra on the cusp will determine where those 3rd House issues will manifest themselves."

Taurus is in the 1st House Cusp (Ascendent), and Libra is in the 6th House Cusp.

So I understand about it affecting my Ascendent, but the 6th House, tell me more. Plus, my 6th is already a busy bee Housing my Scorpio Stellium.

The 6th also Rules Virgo, which is the Sign of my Natal Venus.

It's like everything is circling over itself. Does anyone see what I mean?

BTE,

In your case your moon is in its dignity in cancer now being in third house can suggest a few things. The natural third house is Gemini so I would hypothesize that you are emotionally expressive and that you have emotional feelings towards siblings.

Your Venus in Virgo suggests in the 4th house which is the natural house of Cancer. Venus likes the 4th house for domestic issues children; however in a retrograde period this would suggest problems with home/children/games/sports/love in a Virgoean manner.

Taurus in the first with Venus posited in the 4th in Virgo suggests that the home/children issues creates a self identity crisis and with Libra on the cusp of the sixth with Venus again in the forth suggests issues relating to the sixth house with the Taurean overlap.

We see that the houses that Venus affects to varying degrees are the 1st, 4th 6th (Libra and Virgo being the natural sixth house)

So based on that my interpretation is that the main issue is day to day issues at home that is causing you an identity crisis/self-doubt.

I would also inquire which cusp Gemini is the ruler of and where mercury is posited in your chart for additional issues.

I have to read your responses like 5 or 6 times, it's awesome.

Gemini is in my 2nd House Cusp (the House which Rules Venus).

My Mercury is in the 6th House (the House which Rules Virgo, which is what my Venus is in).

Still more things circling over themselves over & over. In a weird way, the transformative potential is extraordinary.

But anything pertaining to 4th House is not good & very difficult, due to other difficult placements.
