I've been needing a haircut for a good few weeks and I meant to do it before the retrograde but I completely forgot! I don't think I can go until June 27th with this rat's nest. I need to get a good amount off, too...like five or six inches. Is it too risky or am I being too paranoid?

Not to make fun, but I've never heard of basing the timing on getting a haircut on whether a planet was retrograde or not. I'd say find a barber or hair stylist you trust and have them trim away.

Really? It could just be my forecast but everytime I hear about venus retrograde, I read that it's not a good time to make any dramatic changes to anything aesthetically based...hair, plastic surgery, home renovations...also not a good time to begin a new relationships. I'm still a n00b but it might have something to do with my own placements?

Now I feel silly :P

Nah, you shouldn't feel silly. I didn't mean to pick on you, sorry. Just seems a bit drastic to base a haircut on astrology. I guess I should keep in mind that for some people, getting a haircut is a much bigger deal. They set up appointments and can make an afternoon of it. I myself am pretty low maintenance, so I'll have to remind myself to keep my opinions in check when it comes to this sort of thing.

Haha yes I'm very particular about my hair (venus in leo here) and I've had enough bad haircuts in the past to traumatize me for a lifetime. Not taking any chances anymore lol.

Don't chance it!

My boyfriend decided to shave his beard off - he looks so weird (not to sound mean - I still love him with all of my heart). It just seems that people don't look their best durring this period when they decide to make a physical change. I'd rather have longer hair for a few weeks than a bad cut that I'm waiting to grow out (butched bangs - THE WORST!)

It has to do with Moon,as I recall...
Trimming - during first quarter.

And not to trim it when Moon in Leo -by Mystic Medusa.

Oh how funny that I saw this! My friend got a haircut yesterday (went to the same dresser who gave her an incredible haircut and asked her to give her the exact same one) and she is now refusing to leave the house. I guess I am going to be careful when it is Venus RX time!

don't get it cut during mercury retrograde! i picked the perfect day for a haircut (venus in taurus and sextile venus) a few months back but with that mercury in retrograde, my stylist didn't get what i was trying to accomplish with my hair and i didn't end up liking it!
