Topic: This site feels like home to me

I just had to say that, that this site feels like home to me. I'm a member of another site that felt similarly, but the biggest downside was that a new post could go days, even weeks without a helpful response, and the dynamic among members had gone south for a bit. Not here. Typically after I start a new thread, there's a response within just a few hours, if not sooner. The only downside I've come across is that unless I initiate the thread, I typically have to bookmark the thread page and hit refresh to see updates. Only when I start a thread am I emailed response notices. But that downside, as far as I'm concerned, is negligible. Such a great site here. IP: Logged |

I completely agree! I love that it's so active. I wish I knew people in real life that I could talk about astrology with without them treating me like professor trelawnyIP: Logged |

You're absolutely correct. I've been on other astro forums and this one is the best. I think because of the heavy moderation, it's really more like a community than just a message board. Things aren't really allowed to get carried away. Also a lot of knowledgeable people here. It's not everywhere you can go and talk to astrologers.IP: Logged |

I agree, though I haven't been here long. My previous go-to astrology site was moderation-free and a complete nightmare in terms of starting a thread to have a simple conversation. My thanks to Randall and the other moderators as well! IP: Logged |
