I have a question about progressed synastry.

I think I remember you take an orb of 3 degrees applying to an aspect into account.

When would you say does the effect of an aspect becomes unmistakeable?
When do you feel is the "peak", the highest point of energy?
Strictly at 00°?
Or some minutes before exactness, even some minutes after exactness?
How many minutes do you give separating aspects until you feel they really fizzle out? (I have been applying about 30 minutes for this usually).

Are you only taking personal planets into account? Or also the aspects that progressing personal planets make to outer ones?

Last but not least I have a progressed synastry here, and was curious what your impression of this one is.

um...yes. I've seen wider orbs, say eight (8) degrees. However, when the planets are this far apart the persons tend to merely take notice of each other, without compulsion to act.

I primarily stick with personal planets. For me, outer planets add flavor to an interaction. Although, my research in this area ( personal - to - outer planets) is sparse. hmmmm??? Are these questions even directed at me. LOL!!!

Those are some fine aspects you got there!!!! If this is person is in your life, live and in the flesh, I forecast great things.

re: the quoted aspect.

For me, conjunctions take precedent over all others. By that I mean it drives the interaction and colors the overall mood. Sextiles & such add ambiance.

Okay, so three degrees applying are the ones to look out for.
It seems to be congruent with Paul Westrans research as well, though he only uses 2 degrees, but it is still quite close to each other I think.

From 00°01 separating? And even if already fading, how long will it still be noticeably? Approximately?

I definitely agree with you here.
I think a persona-outer aspect wouldn`t compell two peole to get into a relationship,b ut once being there, the outer aspects might give a certain flavour.

No the person is not in my life, but despite all odds I am actually going to see him live and in the flesh next month, as he comes to a certain event in Germany.
And it is like against all odds.
The same thing happened when I was seeing Jude Law on stage. Against all odds. The accompanying progressed synastry was crazy as well, with a progressed Sun-Moon-conjunction, Sun-Mars and Sun-Venus-conjunction and MANY Uranus-Venus-aspects. lol

I think in this case where people are in such different social circles and localities the progressed synastry might still be in play as indicating the timeframe when these circles/ paths overlap or meet for one moment.

Just an indicator for timing these "coincidences", instead of really pointing towards relationships as when the people were around each other all the time.

Yea. That's about right. I've never looked at the aspects to the minute because accurate birth times are so hard to come by. But there is a noticeable shift once the cohesive aspect becomes exact and starts to separate.

Of course, this doesn't mean the couple will automatically breakup, but gradually something always seems to come up. When the aspect was applying finding time for each other easy. In the separating cycle, suddenly "circumstances" makes this harder and harder.

Yes. For me, the progressed chart is all about timing.

I see what you're saying all the time. Eg. I'll be browsing videos on YT, a personality pops up and I become addicted to their channel. Next thing you know I'm on their FB. A birthdate emerges and whadda-you-know? their pMoon is in Gemini. I'm sun in Gemini. Wild.

In pSynastry, oppositions work the same as conjunctions, trines & stuff. Totally depends on the planets involved.

I'm noticing a strange phenomenon. All my pSynastry "charts" are written in a little black book. It was meant to be random scattered writeup with me & others checking the energy interplay. Then I did a synastry for my mom and discovered something...

All those random people in my little black book were connected, like links in a chain. ??? and I can't make heads or tails of it. Have you noticed anything similar in your research?? Or linkages between the persons who've caught your attention.

Back in 2005 I had a mishap with a Scorpio. They weren't interested and the pSyn reflected this. One year later, I met a Sagittarius who seem very keen. pSyn was good, but not my type. Turns out, the Sagittarius' natal chart was the progressed chart of the Scorpio when I tried to lure them into bed. Yea. They were born the same year.

Back in 2002 I circulated with a Cancer. I was smitten, but I suppose they weren't. Perfect skin, beautiful wet lips, graceful, elegant...gawd I'm a sucker for Venus conjunct my Asc. One day, **Intruder Alert!! **Intruder Alert!!** they forgot something at my job. **I'm not proud of this** It was a scarf & some kind of perfume. I took a deep breath of the scarf and it smelled perfect. I cuddled with it, I became one with it, I snuggled up in it. I wrapped around it, and it wrapped around me...aaahh, memories. Anyway, I digress.

Fast forward to 2007. At a new job I met a Leo, doing that stuffy/icy thing Leos do when the first meet you. It really sunk that ship.

Fast forward to 2009. Suddenly the Leo is transferred into my department. Interested, but kinda awkwardly cold. I decided to pass. Around the same time, January.ish I was accepted as a friend of the Cancer's on FB.

It turns out, the Cancer's progressed chart for 2009 was the same as the Leo's natal chart. By coincidence, this was the year when I got on friendly/speaking terms with both.

What do you make of this?? If anything.

Gosh this progressed synastry is such interesting stuff at times... pfft!

I met someone (monthsss ago) and at first glance in all areas... wow!! Mutual as hell not to forget! (rare for me as I've always had my doubts about ANY guy ~ and so the ones that lasted)

Guess what we have, not even comparable with the progressed stuff with my longest..

His progressed Venus in a very tight applying conjunction to my progressed Mars (its peak in march 2013)

My progressed Venus in an applying trine to his progressed Sun (within 3*) with its peak in jan. 2025!! (feels as suited for life)

Around 2015/16/17 at the same all at once;
- the above trine ofcourse
- his Progr. Sun opp. to my natal Venus
- my progr. Venus trine his natal & progr. Mars
- his progr. Venus conjunct my natal Mars

(well with an orb around 6/7/8 - don't pin me at a dreg. - it's all applying already ofcourse)

In the declinations;
- his dec-Venus applying to my natal dec-Sun (0,25)
- his dec-Sun applying to my natal dec-Venus (0,20)

It's really too much to dive into the angle-stuff right now but there are also some things going on.

BUT .. what I found really interesting also is that in our HELIO progressed synastry we have this;

His progressed Venus in applying conjunct at ONE degr. to my progressed Mars (takes a year to be exact) .. so you can call this a trans-level progression as it's also present in GEO.
