Topic: Does Mars in the 12th mean I attract 12th house things?

I wasn't sure if I look to Jupiter or Mars when studying and comparing the Law of Attraction, but I thought "Well... Mars IS kind of a magnet, proactive sign." and wondered if it makes a difference what I attract because it's in my 12th house. Actually (<me> "Duh") Jupiter is in my 12th house too. It's ruled by Taurus but both M and J are in Gemini. I look at it like a math equation in my head: Taurus/Venus + Gemini/Mercury, the energy of Mars AND Jupiter, AND Pisces being the natural ruler of the 12th house = I attract..... what? Crazies? Aries Dragon, lol. Why always me? OK, so Mars in 12th house can manifest in 2 ways. The native may fear to take action. He is afraid of himself. Mars being also the planet of sex, thia might be also affected. The native might be afraid of his sexuality or he is oversexed. Because this house is the house of self undoing and spiritual things and Mars is a very physical planet, the native might feel he doesnt have any control over his power of action and of course over his sexuality. Hmmm. I also heard Mars is weakened in the 12th house. But I like optimism so is there any benefit to having it there? And why does it attract sensitive, family oriented guys? Does it matter that Pisces (co?) ruler Neptune is in my 7th? IP: Logged |

Mars in the 12th makes direct action hard--direct drives and passions of any sort i.e aggression, assertion.That is why they can be passive aggressive.It is due to dear.I have a good article on it I can put up, if you would like. ------------------

Venus in a female chart shows the way acts in a relationship. In your case Aquarius is very nonconformist, very detached seeing the relationship more in a friendship mode. IP: Logged |

Well, I have it in Gemini.
Then it's quincunx Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th house
Next is being sextile to Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Aries all in the 11th house (which I'm kind of thinking has to do with air for some reason, since the 11th is naturally ruled by Aquarius.)
And lastly it's conjunct my Gemini ASC.

I guess. I am slow to lower the boom on things, it gives me a wincing reaction in most cases. However, I guess that's why I have triple Aries in my Sun, Merc, Venus... so I can't tell the difference and don't know what I'm missing with my Mars there in the 12th. IP: Logged |

No. 12th is a water house. You attract guys with water influence, emotional, sensitive guys. Neptune in 7th means you can attract Piscean type guys.

I DO, but I don't like it. When I sense a guy's energy is soft and sensitive it reminds me of frailty. And frailty just... I have a problem with it. I can tolerate it but I don't know how to love fragility. IP: Logged |

Be careful. 12th house is a karmic house. Any planet in this house can mean a karmic lesson. Maybe Mars position there isnt a coincidence. IP: Logged |

It isn't... because I have Saturn in Capricorn in my 7th house. I'm laughing because it kind of makes sense and it's what I've been wondering outside of astrology. It's probably my karma to not be defensive, independent, or abrasive. To be more docile. Less extravagent. No wonder my Mars is in the 12th house, or Saturn in the 7th. It may make sense on paper but I not only have Mars and Venus in the 12th, they're both in cancer. So is my ascendant and I DO NOT attractive those kind of guys nor am I attracted to the ooey gooey kind. Back to the drawing board on that one.IP: Logged |
