It is my understanding that each sign in the zodiac has a higher expression and a lower expression.
For example: High Leo finds creative expression for ego stuff / Low Leo is narcissistic
or
High Scorp embraces transformation / Low Scorp might crash a car into your house to get even (I'm only taking this particular example from a plot a Scorp friend of mine was once calculating, pleeeeeease don't take offense).

I haven't heard a lot of stuff about Low Capricorn though.
I'm asking because I'm consistently drawn towards Capricorn men, before I know the astro of course. But so far, they all seem to be lacking in many of the exceptional Cap qualities I seem to hear so much about.

It's been my experience with Low Caps that they lack an ambitious drive, or an eye toward the future, and thrive on being taken care of. Like, needing a mother figure. It probably has something to do with afflictions to the Moon or something, but I'm no expert.
I would just like to know, has anyone else had these Low Cap experiences, or knows something more about them?? A word I heard used once was "vampire". Thoughts?

Low Capricorn is ruthless and power-hungry, possibly so fixed on the traditional that they tend towards xenophobia, also agoraphobic and manic-depressive.

High Cap knows with hard work and talent they will get to the top.

Low Cap runs roughshod over everybody. The only way to the top is to trample and snuff out the competition.

Mmmmmm.... mhm mhm mhmm. (Nodding)
Possibly sometimes not so much power/control in a workplace setting, but over other people in a home setting as well?
Like, running roughshod over others' feelings or suggestions.
Interesting.

Here is a beautiful Capricorn pop star who battled crippling depression: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2121472/Frankie-Sandfords-battle-depression-The-Saturdays-singer-felt-worthless-ugly.html

Aggressive, selfish, and ramped up without much direction...probably don't care to have direction...? Anxiety? Sure. Depression? Yup.

High Capricorns are more noble and considerate, I've found. They help in their own ways, and do have a scared little heart deep down! Inclusive, though not particularly warm. Genuine. Does that help?

High Capricorn are very protective and will do what they can to make sure their loved ones prosper. They'll kill themselves working to support their family.

@Aquacheeka
Uhm, after reading that article, I think I just diagnosed myself as depressed!
Just kidding, but I totally do all of that stuff, I thought it just had to do with being to focused on myself and too controlling. All I have is South Node in Cap, so maybe that's where all of this is coming from.

@RedScorp
I read your post 3 times, and the first two I read "scared little heart deep down" as "sacred little heart deep down". haha
And they are! My cousin married a High Cap, he has his grumpy moments, but he works his a$$ off all of the time in a family business, and I know he has a "sacred heart".

Other than the things already mentioned, which I agree with... I'd add:

high Cap - practical, down to earth, realistic - no BS kind of person, honest -- can weather good times and bad times, hard-worker, go-getter...

Symbol:

low Cap - snobbish, puts on upper-class airs coming from the 16th century, discriminating, weak ego, dark, pessimistic...

Symbol:

(The Duke of Devonshire - the way his character was portrayed in this movie!)

Omg, stop! You are fine just as you are! I certainly hope you don't talk to yourself like Frankie Sanford does!

Naw, just about being totally wound up and overthinking conversations and how I'm projecting myself. It can be super hard to relax sometimes.
Poor Caps, pressuring themselves so hard.

There's a little debate that Jesus was a Pisces.

Anyway, be careful that you don't end up with a narcissitic, egomaniac tyrannt, like me

We've had this debate a billion times on LL. I wouldn't call it little. It goes on and on. Linda Goodman thought he was a Leo. It's not my favorite topic-- first of all because there is no certain answer and secondly because - It doesn't flipping matter - He is Jesus! LoL He would've transcended his chart.

Anyway, I had no idea there's any compatibility with Leo, or any attractiveness to Leo, until I met my wife.

Anyway, you are right that Jesus transcends signs, but this Capricorn Mercury says there's no way he was a Leo. The Negev desert is too flipping hot in August.

Nope, I was just saying that in reference to the sacred heart thing, I totally agree - If we even knew in the first place (which I'm glad we don't), it wouldn't matter.
And I think I could handle narcissitic, egomaniac tyrant (lol) if they knew how to hold a steady job! All these Caps I've known, they always quit for bogus reasons. I think what it is is that they can't stand to have anyone telling them what to do (these Caps I know, maybe not all Caps in general). My Mom's also "married" to one -I know, maybe that's where this is all coming from- he lost his job 16 years ago, and now he "borrows" money from his Mom and works on hot rods in his garage and gets high all the time. He lets Ma bring home the groceries and take care of their daughter together, and of course she gripes, but she's always put up with it (Virgo Sun/ Cancer asc).
Anyway, this is starting to become a pattern and I don't like what I'm seeing!

My dear, I'm so sorry for these negative examples. But dwell not on them but the other shinny, hardworking, responsible, dedicated, ambitious, persevering people out there. I pray God will bring you a respectful, caring, loving, responsible man into your life and take the greatest care of you and be a wonderful partner. Have hope in people, and your prince will come.

God bless you.
