I'm still new to astrology, just a bit of a disclaimer here. For Venus square Saturn, I believe there would always be a conflict of morals/outlook in life. As for Venus square Jupiter, one word came to mind: extravagance (in every sense of the word). IP: Logged |

I don't like Venus anywhere near Saturn, be it natal, synastry or composite. They just don't get each other.Venus wants love, affection, pleasure, good times, and Saturn wants discipline, work, restriction, and hard lessons. In composite, the relationship will feel stiffling at some point. The energies are at odds, so that the feelings and affection do not flow harmoniously. It can be fine at first, but when you really get into the relationship, cold behaviour could result. Venus square Jupiter is about clashing values. Hard Jupiter aspects aren't always joy & happiness, they can often indicate real differences in values/morals, one person likes one thing, the other likes another. Does Venus receive any flowing aspects? IP: Logged |

That could ease things a bit.How about the composite Moon and Venus? And the Sun? I believe the luminaries are very important in composite. If it feels good emotionally and if there's a sense of purpose to the relationship, the other things can be worked out, hopefully.

Venus conjunct Jupiter is still one of my favorite synastry elements because it can negate a lot of negative aspects especially if the they are closely conjuncted. The downside is too much of a good thing and and sometimes the relationship doesn't address tough issues. IP: Logged |
