Okay I have noticed that cancers seem to have a particular hold on Aries and I don't really know what :s So Aries people or people who have any ideas, have you ever been attracted to a cancer and what drew you into them? I'm not attracted to Cancer Sun men at all. It is the sign I am least attracted to. But I also have a Capricorn Mars and in a girl's chart Mars can point to the kind of guy she would find attractive. You could say that Cancerian character traits are basically the opposite of what I look for in a man. Interestingly my DC is also Cap - which makes sense. Maybe other Aries are more attracted to Cancer . I have a feeling it works better when the man is the Aries. IP: Logged |

I feel this way with Capricorn, but not with Cancer. We just seem to rub each other the wrong way. It helps if the Cancer person has either Aries or Cap in their chart. IP: Logged |

Hey, I'm no Aries but I have my moon in the sign.This is the most common pairing I've seen of any astrological pairing where I'm at. And most of the time the Cancer is the man and the Aries is the woman in a straight couple. My number one guess is that the Cancer is a nurturing force on the Aries. Sure, Aries is tough and only shows this side of themselves to the world but they are comfortable with the crab enough to let their guard down a little. And the crab loves the Aries protection of them, and is happy to dote on the Ram. They just know they have each other's back and help each other where they need it (Ram gives the crab a push, Crab opens the ram's heart) I've seen the similar things happen with Leo/Scorp and Sagittarius/Pisces...it might just be a fire/water thing when they share the same quality. I just don't share the sentiment at all. I don't feel understood by Cancer on a basic level. I open up to Scorpio influenced people (most of all).
I am also pretty sensitive and show my emotions to the world - since I have a Cancer AC. But i would definitely want to be with a man who I see as *strong* and *reliable*.
Cancer men want to be babied by me... and I really don't have the energy or desire to baby them. Cancer women are indeed more motherly, which is sweet. I appreciate that they care and I know that it is genuine. But I still don't think they really understand me deep down. IP: Logged |

Oh my bad >_< I didn't mean to loop all Aries and Cancers together or come off that way.
You mentioned your Capricorn placements and I believe you said once you had a Cap moon, so I think it makes sense how you feel about em. The Moon and Rising do matter a GREAT deal.
I was mainly going by two relationships like this I know of irl, and some research here and there. I will agree that Cancer men need way too much babying for me...I've been there @_@ IP: Logged |

I hope some more aries post here. I'm perennially attracted to aries guys, and I'm a cancer with leo venus, mars and moon and libra rising. But, I have seen cancers who are attracted to aries without any fire in their chart or a libra rising. But, either way, that's actually how I got into astrology, because I'm always attracted to aries and I just really wanted to know why. So I scoured the internet and I've found tons of testimonials by astrologers and both cancers and aries alike talking about the famed attraction. I still have them all saved, if anyone wants to see them, lol. It gives me hope that it might work out between me and an aries one day. Almost all my romantic experiences have been with aries guys. A second close sign I'm always attracted to is Virgo, but I'd take aries over them any day. They're not nearly as passionate, loving, fun, or expressive.If you talk to an astrologer, I'm sure they will tell you it's a very very common attraction, and mostly a sexual one. They'd probably say it starts out as a strong fascination and then once they get to know each other better and find they have nothing in common, the attraction fizzles out. Either that or once the arguing starts. I've never argued with an aries other than my dad, but I will admit I've never found one that didn't irritate me at least a liddo liddo bit. So that's what worries me, I guess.

Mars in Taurus. Sure, on one hand he could be the most selfish man alive but on the other these are the placements of my very best friend and we just seem to get each other. I'm starting to think relationships work out best when The person's sun or moon is the same as their Mars.

This is so true. My best friend is an Aries and I am Cancer. What is interesting about our relationship is that we have experienced about 90% of the same situations in life which is crazy because both of our lives in general have been quite out of the ordinary. Overall I think there is a sense of balance between the two of us that is definitely profound, quite unique and often difficult to find with other signs. Most people in my life actually are either Aries and Cancer for some reason. On my end I definitely appreciate the strength that Aries' tend to have...AND their ability to tolerate my moodiness! The Aries in my life also tend to take on a"fatherly" type role and are often quite motivating for me on all levels. Their drive, ambition, passion, etc. is very appealing and is a good match for Cancer signs because they share those qualities...Cancers I would think then become attractive to Aries because of their "motherly" aspects (home, mother, intuition, emotions, etc.) So again, overall a good balance of masculine and feminine energies. Water is the only thing that can tame and/or put out the passionate fire driven Aries!

I had an Aries best friend once  Then I found out he had a crush on me, and it got awkward. But we were best friends for like 5 years. In class, people would tell me afterwards about how they noticed how much chemistry we had. I probably have never met someone I could have such easyflowing witty banter with. It was fun fun fun anytime we were together. He was a double aries with pisces mercury. IP: Logged |

Im an Aries Sun, and i have a rather difficoult relationship with Cancer Suns usually. On the other hand, I love Cancer Moons and i get on very well with them... maybe because i have a very sensitive Virgo Moon. My bf is a Cancer Moon, Cancer AC, and i love it Finally i found someone who is at least as emotinal as me,lol.
