I think it is a snapshot of your mother at the time of yoru birth.My Moon is in Pisces aspects my Pluto - Mum is Cancer Rising, Scorpio Sun, Taurus Moon (aspecting Neptune 0). Venus the ruler of Taurus & Libra shows up again in my MC in Libra! My brother has Moon in Libra on his Libra MC conjunct! My other brother has Moon in Cancer (2nd house - house of Taurus), his MC is in Pisces! IP: Logged |

My Moon's in Virgo in the 8H.
Sextile Pluto.
Square Mars.
Trine Uranus/Neptune.10H in Scorpio.
Pluto in Scorpio.
Pluto conj Merc(out of sign)
Pluto square Saturn.
Merc & Venus in Sagittarius in the 10th. My Mom's obviously a Scorpio Sun, Merc, Nept, Nnode.
Her Merc is conjunct her Sun.
Pluto, the ruler, is in Virgo. Her Taurus Moon's opp Neptune & Square Uranus. Fortunately, she balanced the harsh aspects & passed me the trines.  Her Venus/asc are in Capricorn. The chart fits her perfectly. IP: Logged |

Actually my IC describes my Mom. I have IC in Taurus with Venus conj it from the 3rd and Chiron conj it from the 4th. Mom is Tau Sun, stunning beauty in her youth and a nurse. Moon, not so much. I mean, yeah, it does, but IC is def her. IP: Logged |

Hera so your MC is in scorpio - did you mum have any PLUTO, SCOPRIO or 8th placements? What is your moon? quote:

Both parents do, both Plutonian ppl. Mom has a Fixed Grand Cross of Tau Sun, Leo Pluto, Scorpio Mars and Aqua Moon. My Moon is in Sag, last degree, exact conj Neptune and SN. Mom's Karma asteroid is exactly there too. I was her mom in a previous life and she felt the need to sacrifice everything for me in this life. I would have preferred if she didn't, really. No.... My IC placement does not describe my mother... My MC placement does not describe my mother. My Moon placement barely (if at all) describes my mother.The only thing that really describes my mother is my close Moon/Mercury sextile since we're friends and have great communication. That's the only close major aspect to my Moon. Other than that - our synastry is quite good.. so that describes our interaction more than my own chart. IP: Logged |

I think of the IC-MC as parental axis (though not limited to that symbolism). Interestingly both my parents are being reflected through my MC.I have MC in Libra with Pluto conjunct MC, ruler Venus in Capricorn. And Uranus is in 10th house as well, though conjunct 11th house cusp. My Mom reflects the Pluto on the MC, as she has a Scorpio-Sun.
My Dad reflects the Uranus, as he has Aquarius-Sun.
the Pltuo-Uranus-energy is strong in both of them.
(My Mum has Uranus in 1st house, my Dad has Moon in 8th house and Venus opposite Pluto). My Dad also refelcts the fact that my MC-ruler is in Capricorn - his ASC is conjunct Saturn, trine chartruler in Capricorn. My Mum has Capricorn-DESC and Saturn in 4th house paralell Moon. (hey are out of orb for a conjunction though as the orb would be 11 degrees). my IC seems to reflect my Dad better.
ARies-IC with Mars in Sag in 12th house conjunct Neptune. He`s got a wide Mars-Neptune-conjunction with Mars being in 1st house.
IC is in Sagittarius.
Sun conjuncts Jupiter.
I donīt believe it is about the actual parents though, but about the athmosphere and emotional impression we get.

That happens often. Actually it is part of why people get together and stay together for a long time, as they "work out" similiar themes or at least are vibrating on the same frequency (in this case the frequency being "Pluto").
Since this would be a dominant theme it does not surprise it comes out int he children again.
Sometimes I think it might have to do with some sort of "family-karma" or "task" a certain group has to work on.

My Moon is in Virgo, conjunct Chiron in the 9th; trine Neptune+Uranus in Cap; sextile Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio; sextile NN in Scorpio; semi-square Mercury in Scorpio; square my ASC in Sagittarius. My Midheaven/10th is in Virgo, trine Neptune+Uranus, sextile Pluto in Scorpio; sextile Mars in Cancer; Mercury in Scorpio; Mercury trine Saturn in Pisces and square Mars in Cancer. My Mom has Mercury conjunct Saturn in Leo; Taurus Mars (ALSO in 29 degrees!!!!!) trine her MC in Pisces; Moon trine Sagittarius Neptune; Moon trine her MC; Libra Pluto trine Mercury and Moon; Gemini Venus opposition Neptune, and other aspects that speak of tough things. As for the MC mine shows that both my grandmother, highly Scorpionic w/ a Scorpio stellium and Pluto-Moon, and my mother, Cancer Sun and highly unstable (my Mars is in the 29th degree showing discomfort with the sign/placement even further than the fall), fought over me in my childhood. Both caused me a lot of grief and anxiety growing up. When a planet aspects the MC it also goes to the IC, your childhood indicator, the Nadir. I had two people in my life representative of the Pluto and Mars MC aspects in my childhood who were female guardians to me.... both terrible in their own ways but also very obsessive and eager to please since both have Leo Moons. I see WAY more of my mom/guardians with the MC than my Moon. Only thing I can say is that, my mom and I have similar aspects but they're different at the same time. Like, I positively harness Venus-Neptune with a gentle sextile and she has a tight, deluded opposition that's made her become abused and be in bad relationships due to her own bizarre fantasies of 'true love'. Not really, my moon is Gemini bq Uranus & Vertex (Libra), Trine North Node(Aquarius) & MC(Aquarius) and conjunct ASC. Her moon is Capricorn, if anything my moon is her MC and her moon is the ruler of my 9th house. IP: Logged |

My moon trines Jupiter (Her Gemini Sun trines Jupiter)
My MC is Leo (Her Moon is in Leo)

Yes it does! Lol.I have a Cap Moon Square Pluto, and Trine Venus. However I'm a Cancer Sun and Asc so my 4th/10th houses are VERY important. My 4th is in Virgo Square Uranus, trine Saturn, Venus, and my Moon. My mom was 40 when she had me (the Cap/Saturn influence), Square to Pluto because she's very intense and can be covertly (due to the Aqua influence) controlling and VERY private, the Virgo influence because she has a Virgo Rising (it's weird in MANY ways I see quite a bit of Virgo traits. In fact I love my Virgo friends esp Virgo Moon). The Venus influence because she was very beauty orientated (Taurus Venus). And I ESPECIALLY feel the Square to Uranus, in fact I feel this as much as I feel the Square to Pluto to my Moon. I had a LOT of abrupt moves, She was very eccentric (Aqua Moon, and Mars), freedom orientated and to be honest I see this trait in myself now and feel it as if it were actually an aspect to my moon. As a side not my Mom and Father are both Pisces Sun's, and my father has a Virgo Moon. Obviously my MC is Square Uranus as well and he abruptly left us when I was five. IP: Logged |
