Hi! When I was younger I had major problems hanging around with girls my age.. I used to get bullied and just felt like an outsider.. But somehow I used to pluck up the courage to talk to school mates tha were at least 5 years older than me! I always preferred to have friends who are older than me, I feel like I can learn a lot from them. I don't go out of my way to be friends with people younger than me. ..

When I was younger? Older kids, not adults.
I got along well enough overall with peers my age growing up. I only had a few actual friends, though. Particularly in high school, I preferred to have fewer friends, but they were usually only a year or two older than me.

Interesting!

I asked because I was talking to my Taurus sun (girl) friend and she mentioned she always hung out with little kids (liked to babysit them) or older adults but never kids her own age. She said she felt ostracized from them a lot of the time. I have a Taurus moon and I've always felt uncomfortable around kids my own age too. I think it goes back to my theory that Taurus is a sign who likes to be the boss (re: you're the boss if you're the older kid babysitting) or needs to be bossed around (like you are usually around older adults) and I think this ties into security for bulls. They are not in-between signs, or signs that deal with ambiguity very well. Having some kind of roll (boss or servant) gives them a sense of comfort, and socially that's hard to find among our own age group due to ...shyness, maybe?
