YEP Sounds like Pluto in the 12th. I have an article on it. I will it up. A placement like this is NOT your fault. It is the nature of the placement SS.

Pluto in the 12th House
By amiann | Published: January 28, 2012 |
Pluto and the 12th –Shussh. Pluto is the majestic primal tiger we have met in the other houses. He does not like to be turned inward, as the 12th house is wont to do. This majestic beast has his face to wall, as a child in time out. It is very hard for him to turn around, face forward, and walk with Pluto’s famous swagger. As such, we have an unhappy Pluto. When Pluto is unhappy, watch out. This Pluto takes secretive and dials it up notches. Can we say nuclear? Pluto rules nuclear power, you know. Pluto in the 12th has all of Pluto’s primal passion, but he is like a volcano and he is stuck in non eruption phase. Pluto’s energy must go somewhere, as all energy must. The 12th house Pluto may have very kinky sexual fantasies or practices. He may have a double life. He buckles at hiding who he is. That may be the hardest part of Pluto in the 12th. He wants to tell you who he is, but he is afraid. We are all afraid of rejection, even big bad Pluto. As such, this Pluto has a lot of secrets. My advice to him is to find a trusted friend or counselor. Unburden everything. This will be very hard for you, proud animal that you are, but you must. Even Pluto needs a little TLC, every now and then.

People have also also told me they've intuited that I'm going to leave a place before even I've realized that was going to be the case. It is very, very, very difficult for me to stay with organizations or people who I no longer have faith in. Sometimes, I hate that about this placement and other times it feels right. For financial or other practical reasons, it is sometimes advisable to keep associations with certain people or groups, but if I don't believe in them, I always separate from them inexplicably.

I can relate to much of what you said. I have Pluto in the 11th

I would think that with Pluto it could go either way.
Because where ever Pluto is you are going to transform or renew in which case you would experience perceived loss or would experience a destruction as it were to move from lower based emotions and actions to higher based emotion and actions and gather the lessons gained within to stay on your path.
If you do not learn the lesson and transform. You maybe "strong" but you would be expressing the strength of what ever Energy the house possessed in a negative form with an attached lower based emotional expression, than in its higher state.
For example...someone trapped in lessons dictated by there charts may not resonate with Astrologies view point of the higher level or positive Energy that a planet in the house would be activating IE: The reading of Pluto in the 2nd.
The answer therein being it would be strong just negatively or positively based on the level of advancement with consciousness.

My Pluto is in the 2nd house...of material security and this has been a life long lesson for me. I have faced every challenge possible that could and did break my connection to material possessions. I have been at the top of society financially and I have been at the bottom.
I've given everything away at one point to free my Spirit.
So this was the house I transformed the most in life. And it presents that the areas of life that come from the 2nd house have been the areas that I have most transformed in and is definitely where I am strong now, due to the wisdom gained from the lessons learned.
What's more, for those of you interested in Asteroids, I also have the asteroid Cupid conjunct Pluto here in Libra and it is opposing my Sun and Mars in Aries. And one of the most transformational experiences involved a soulmate I lived with for 5 years and would have "married" but who I walked away from. What's more, this man was extremely wealthy and so I walked away from the material security he gave and his love because he tried to control me..(my expression of will [concerns of Mars in Aries] over how I should be [Sun in Aries] in life...IE: Job, material possessions, friendships with others)
He wanted me all to himself and by walking away I learned the biggest lesson of my life about material possessions, that I am nothing I own and nothing in this reality defines me. This is one of many life lessons I learned about Material Security. And I find it interesting that this is for sure my TS strength, his second house is the fullest in his chart with ironically ...NN, Chiron,Venus and Saturn...all in Aries. He has always provided for himself and is materially secure and always has been from a very young age..he left home when he was 16. This wisdom was not present in me at first so I could not attract him until it was.

You expressed it well ORBM, as you always do. Hope you are well, Darling.

Well, for me, I have always felt strong in groups(Pluto in the 11th, not weak. However, I have learned many lessons from either having to walk away from groups or being transformed by staying.

Pluto in House 5.. Ha ha *love*
I feel that 5th house Pluto anyway
"You possess powerful creative impulses, and you might invest much energy and passion into the creative arts, romance, or child-rearing. You take much pride in, and invest much of your ego into, whatever it is you produce. Romance for you needs to be intense, passionate, and deeply intimate--nothing superficial or light attracts. You have an "all or nothing" attitude in love. If you are not "owning" this attitude, then you may be meeting Pluto energies through your lovers, and thus attracting intense, controlling, or passionate romantic partners. A deep-seated fear of loss or betrayal can be behind any jealous, obsessive, or controlling behavior in fifth house areas, including romantic involvements, child-rearing, and creative endeavors. Your attitude towards play, entertainment, and recreation is also intense--rarely lighthearted. While you may yearn to throw your soul into your creative endeavors, fear might prevent you from doing so completely."

I have Pluto in Scorpio in the 10th house. I would say Pluto is very strong in my chart. I have this obsession with power and building my career. Pluto is also conjunct MC, trines mars, sextiles neptune, squares the moon and is in opposition to venus. Essentially, Pluto affects every arena of my life.

In addition, my chart ruler (Saturn) is also in Scorpio and is in the 10th house.

Arg! The quote from the above Pluto 5th house description ^^^^^ didn't work.

But it's definitely me I also have stationary direct Pluto and I feel this makes it even stronger in my chart. In addition, it's exactly conjunct asteroid Karma so my 5th house has been a major focus for me my entire life - relationships and creativity are my inspirations and I've had to accept massive amounts of transformation in these areas. If I use my Pluto with wisdom and surrender to change, then I feel the positive power of Pluto. If (and when) I resist, what a mess.

But I also have Sun/Venus square Pluto and Mercury/ASC/MC/Pallas/Vesta trine Pluto and Moon biquintile Pluto and a Scorpio NN.

I'm 12th house pluto in Virgo. I day dream a lot and don't accomplish nearly as much as I need to. My intuitive sense is growing in big ways this years thankfully.

My depression used to be epic but I have taken big steps to reduce it and I am very grateful. The good part of it is that when I write I can flow really well.

They say Cappies get calmer with age so I am hoping that's what's happening. I am trying to go into the 12th house to start sorting stuff out.

Ami

I agree with oneruledbymars, it could go either way, right?

Pluto just means what we are obsessed with. Scorpio's phrase is "I desire" after all

I would think that at first you don't feel comfortable or strong in the house pluto is in, but then after many transformations you really do feel strong in that area. That's pretty much what oneruledbymars said. What do u think about this?

Those with Pluto in the 1st house often have an intense gaze and powerful persona, and these people are intensely aware of themselves. There is a deep intensity of self-expression, and they are inclined to be wholeheartedly and passionately involved in whatever interests them.

Moreover, the individual can dramatically change life directions which will be reflected in changes of hairstyle, clothing and even relationships. There is a powerful sense of personal survival, and particularly in expression of their physical appearance and identity. They tend to go to extremes, and make more moderate souls feel uneasy.

Pluto in the 1st house may need to deal with issues of power – their own and others. The individual resents being controlled, and this may perhaps cause them to go to extremes in asserting their will which often results in power-struggles. They are profoundly influenced by powerful and charismatic figures whom they model themselves after. For some who have this placement, the world is not seen as a safe place, and they keep tight control over themselves and others, so learning to use personal power appropriately is an issue for them.

The person may also be a powerful individualist, but they can be hard to get know deeply. Wherever Pluto is placed it demands we get a life-changing makeover and don’t take anything for granted. It is thought that the real path to transformation often involves a journey to hell, a state of containment in the darkness, and eventually, new beginnings.

Pluto rising often have a series of incarnations. Their lives fall into distinct chapters, each of which has a recognisable beginning and ending. They are one way for a few years, doing a particular profession, wearing a particular kind of clothing, exhibiting a particular kind of personality, espousing a particular set of values. Then something happens - not always visible - and they become somebody completely different. They build a new personality out of the ashes of the old. The former life is gone forever, and something new starts which may go on for five or ten or twenty years. And the same thing happens again. By Liz Greene

The individual will quite often have a powerful impact on other people – but may also alienate them. In response they draw on their own depth of determination and commitment. Pluto demands they find new ways to express themselves. Pluto in the 1st house is about self-discovery, and the person experiences a rebirth of raw potential, will-power and restructuring of the personality. These folks have unlimited inner strength and energy that overwhelms everything. Positively they can be a potent force for change, growth and healing in the world.

I hope what I said made sense or pertained to your question, if not please tell me.

Good lord, I have Pluto in the 12th (in Scorpio to boot) and I'm like that too. I feel relieved that you posted that because I feel the same.

I really feel like I have to repress hurt, anger, frustration, and negative emotions. Confrontation honestly is something that I try to avoid at all costs. There are a lot of times when I'd like to sit down and talk about things, but that scares me. I'm especially afraid that I will be right and that my fears are true.

I do like the spiritual side of this placement very much, though.

When you were looking for answers, the other day, Pluto in the 12th would explain why you feel "too intense".

Pluto is hard in whichever house it falls. All houses are "open" houses except the 8th and the 12th, but much more so, the 12th.

If you really explore Pluto in the 12th, you may find many answers. All answers are in the chart.

ah...and guess where my moon is?

The 8th.

In CANCER.

I'm like star-doomed or something.

The thing is, I don't know what to do with my intensity. I feel like I have to constantly hide it and feel so much pressure to bury it. I wish that it would actually serve a purpose and be something good that didn't scare the bejesus out of everyone.
