Each person has a soft underbelly.The specific nature of the soft underbelly is what I want to explore. I think one’s soft underbelly is one’s moon. That is what I propose, to you, for discussion. Conversely, each person has areas of strength. I came upon this as I studied Pluto in charts. Pluto seems to be a place where the person, often, has inherent strength. Then, the person is tested in this domain of life i.e Pluto’s house. The person, then, can transform as a result of the testing that ensues in that house. Back to the moon. If one has a Cancer moon, one may be vulnerable as one wants a family, very badly. The person may compromise himself for purposes of being part of a family. My Bull Moon is in the 6th, oppo my Scorpio asc as well, so there is alot going on with my moon. Vulnerable? Cant quite put my finger on the potential vulnerability of my Bull Moon, cept for I adore Taurus moon things, luxury, sensual things, candles, soft fabrics, scented bubble baths, good food! My Moon (3rd house) is afflicted in a T square with the Sun and Saturn. It is also a singleton in Pisces. I do like my Moon, as it brings my passions such as the arts and imagination. I do feel that my Sagittarrian Sun and ego self, would be much more firey without the sensitivity of my Moon holding me back. Sometimes I would like to be more detached, and true to my sense of independence but then my Moon emotions turn me into a softie where I feel a bond with people that would be best out of my life. IF someone were to present to me with any of my Taurus moon luxuries..I would melt, I would be inlove with that person forever!! shhhhhhhh dont tell the boys that! It is a strong moon for me, with all of those things going on in aspect to my moon, but yes, Ami, I am feeling the vulnerablility, now trying to figure out how she plays out her vulnerability in my 6th house. I have known LOTS of Saggies and have loved them all...the only fire sign I can truely handle (Pisces sun here.) Well, go back to the article. I am talking about myself. A friend told me how strong I was as I don't buckle under from peer pressure YET I sold myself to my mother, just to have some semblance of a family. I looked at myself from my friends eyes. I am strong in one way and weak, in the other. I was weak/vulnerable/needy in my Moon sign--Cancer, the home and family. It is nice to be fun and social, and also have quiet time to think. I love Pisces Suns, my maternal grandparents were both Pisceans and one of my closest friends is a Pisces.
