things with the aquarius are looking up but i'm still wary. i know aquarius friendliness can be mistaken as interest... but to be honest he hasn't been friendly to me until this past month, nor i him. i told him non-chalantly i was quitting the job we work, and he said insisted i stay. he also mentioned the girl he's always walking out with when he leaves work (she works in the back) is his best friend, and it was totally out of the blue for him to mention that. he clearly knew i already knew who "L" was just from having worked there.

He has Venus in Capricorn, Mars in Scorpio.

Yes lol. I crack him up all the time. He's actually not that intimidating. He's a gentle giant... sqeamish, can't kill a fly... loves his baby boy.

I think so, but I'm also terrible at reading signs. I mean we went 7 months without talking, and now he makes an effort to interact with me if we happen to be in the break room together. We're still shy around each other a little bit though. He takes my side if he thinks I'm being treated unfairly concerning that Libra girl, or he's like "why don't you just stay here?" when i mentioned giving my two week notice. Playful banter and whatnot, but I need to be super nice to him this week 'cause I don't want him thinking I'm always a ball buster... :embarrassed: Oh, also he accepted my friend request in less than 2 seconds, and liked a status I had about finding someone who changes your life and not just your relationship status.

Not that I'm keeping track or anything...

What makes you say this?

I'm wondering whether you are really seeing him clearly. Because he has a Scorpio Mars and your interpretation seems a bit too cutsey - to describe his chart.
Do you have Neptune aspects? Could you be seeing what you want to see...?

Oh no, I'm sure he can put someone in his place. But he's literally afraid of/won't kill bugs.

I think WildPlaces said his Venus was conjunct my Neptune.
We also both have Moon trine Neptune in our natal charts each, and the composite. I think those are the only Neptune aspects we have.

I also have the same Venus and Mars placements. With my ex, I've always noticed him around, but there was an exact moment when he became more than just another pretty boy. From then on, I tried to initiate conversations (I wasn't sure if I was was flirting, lol) and tried to be where he was while still remaining nonchalant. After a while, I sensed the feelings were mutual, but he never brought it up so I called him out on it. The day before his birthday XD.
