In relationships I've come to find that cap moons when they're still processing how they feel about you will use the *** for tat approach if things are not done on their time or the way they want inorder to keep themselves emotionally distance. Have anyone else noticed this trait in this particular moon? If not which astrological place do you see this behaviour with?(This post was not created to offend anyone so please no hard feelings) My cap moon ex has done this a lot to me in the past. I've always been very independent meaning all of my time could not be spent with him and on days he'd want me to stay over and I couldn't he'd act like it was no big deal and i'd reschedule he'd cancel on me. It's as if he was mirroring everything I was doing inorder to teach me a lesson. Especially on days where he became rather emotional and cuddly. When that side comes out and I need oh boy he's Mr A--hole the next day. When I told him I wasn't looking for anything serious at the moment and that I was dating to see whose the right fit for me (recently ended an engagement with a psycho taurus) all of a sudden he changed....began saying he's a serial dater and out came the cellphone and in the middle of conversations he'd just pull it out and just have to text then and there. But then I started fallen for him and being more affectionate and attentive. All of a sudden he's the sameway and wanting more cuddle time. Ugh....this guy is a puzzle for my head I tell yah. O_o Lol the title is suppose to be Cap Moons and *** for tat? But this website made it seem like I was cursing or something. Lol IP: Logged |

I have a Cap Moon. I can be very *** for tat when it is deserved.. but I would not feel that way in the situations you described, because you did not do anything wrong.
Either he was under the impression that there was some ill will or game playing involved in the things you told him... Maybe he thought it was not genuine.
OR -- maybe he has a fixed Sun Sign or AC. They overreact to this kind of thing - being told that the relationship is casual etc... since they want everything to be very stable & serious. quote:

I'm not saying this is what happened with you & him, because it seems like he was exaggerating. But right now something similar is going on in my life.
I have a friend who I wanted to go out with twice and she couldn't... and now she wants to go out with me - and I genuinely can't go out with her that particular day... but I feel like she is taking it personally as though it is payback.
It is making me feel really uncomfortable actually. Maybe I should just tell her what I think openly. It has been annoying me so much that I would love to be able to do our synastry just so I can understand WHY in the world she takes everything so personally and imagines this to be about her. All I know is her Sun which is in Leo.. but that is compatible with my Aries Sun - so it doesn't tell me much. She is very touchy though. IP: Logged |

Sexyaqua, as a cap moon, I can definitely tell you that this "mirroring" behavior is definitely influenced by something else in his chart. You did absolutely nothing wrong. You were up front about wanting a casual relationship. This is NOT something a cap moon would want to hear, but the important thing was you were upfront about your feelings. Also, he was just being very childish in the way he reacted to you wanting to reschedule time with him. It isn't like you stood him up. You had things to get done, and he should've respected that. The only time I would ever go for the t*t for tat approach is if the person disrespects me, tries to control me, etc. This guy sounds very immature and if I were you, I would call him out on his behavior (in private) and tell him about his mirroring behavior. He may not even realize he's doing it! Just make sure you speak to him calmly, rationally and in private. Speak in a matter-of-fact kind of way. Cap moons stop listening to people who get all emotional or throw angry temper tantrums. Good luck! IP: Logged |

i am a cap moon and feel i identify very strongly with it, especially in relationships and work matters. i would call my behaviors, at times, spiteful - when i don't get my way. that might be what it amounts to - when we don't get our way we can be spiteful. and he is probably changing his mind over things to not show how emotional and caring he feels towards you; that is something a cap does very well - hide feelings of love/emotion so we aren't vulnerable. it really comes from a place of not wanting to be the more vulnerable partner, imoIP: Logged |

Thanks for the responses guys. I have noticed something in his charts. He has moon opposition mars and that indicates some type of anger or the need to cause drama when there isn't any. He's moon in cap mars in cancer. He definitely is one I find hard to decipher. He always seem to come back around and does so like nothings happened. I remember spending the night with him one time and my mom called in the wee hours of the morning. His response, "Who the hell is calling you at this time of morning?" I say, "My mom. Do you want to see the missed call?" No I don't need to...he starts cuddling with me then the next morning he's as cold as ice. It's like he's looking for something to say I told you so. I'm a cap moon too, and I admit I tend to do that too. I always sort of mirror someone's attitude towards me. But not to teach them a lesson, or get even with them but only because I don't want to get too attached if the person isn't and I hate putting more effort in a relationship than the other person..but I attribute this type of behavior (especially the hot and cold part) to my venus in aquarius IP: Logged |

Ok, I hadn't seen your previous post saying is an aqua sun and an aqua venus. To me this could be the reason for his behavior, and not necessarily the moon (but that might be because I consider that the moon is harder to see while venus is all about how we express love and affection.
So as I said I always attributed my mirroring behavior, "let's not put all my feelings out there" within a relationship to my venus in aquarius. I often do the hot and cold part too. I can be very affaectionnate one day, but then if I feel the other person doesn't feel as I feel, or if I'm afraid to be clingy and all I'll act cold/indifferent the next day. I know it can sound like a childish thing to do but it's as if I didn't want to put myself in a vulnerable position, up for hurt and rejection so I try to limit this by acting indifferent from time to time. Also if I put effort first, trying to get someone to go out, to meet and all and the person can't but won't try to re-arrange a meeting, I become very frustrated and end up stopping contacting that person. And I admit that if they try to re-contact me some time later, I just act like I don't care about them anymore (not that I actually care but usually I can be quite angry at the person for not putting more efforts into it)Well I might sound like all my behavior is calculated and all but actually it's all natural behavior for me, I only recently realized I was acting like that.

Venus square mars creates problems w/ the opposite sex. Moon opposite Mars would definitely incite drama when none is needed. Also w/ Venus in Aquarius, it could be his defense mechanism. What's his mercury?IP: Logged |

Oh dear god I'm over deciphering this guy. I just found out he's a scorpio riser. No wonder...he clashed with my calm earthy taurus rising. Ugh....me and scorps...scorp placements just don't mix. They tend to fall for me then try to play a game I'm too aloof to know is being played...get aggitated curse me out then reveal their love for me after I'm completely exhausted with the horseplay. #runninglikethewindbullseye.Dated a scorp in the past who was always mean to me but sweet the next...found out he tried to make the moves on a girl at a college campus what he didn't know was that she was my friend...he couldn't deny it cursed me out. Hot indeed  lol or so I've been told. I'm always told it's something about my eyes that makes them feel a certain way. They say I have the maneater look. The only sign that when we make love it's never just one roll in the hay it's atleast two to three times in a night. Guess I bring out the crazy in them. As for scorpio rising, I had gotten that treatment too. Opposition to my taurus rising....never been cussed out so bad for something that I caught him doing and then turn around to leave messages "Please call me...it's important" lol...never returned the call...lol
