I don't really care for the latest technology but I cannot live without my computer! Otherwise I don't use technology that much, Tv and phone occasionally but my computer is definitely the most important device I use. =)ETA: D'oh! Forgot to list my aspects. Uranus only sextiles my Sun & makes a conjunction with Neptune, in the 9th. IP: Logged |

I'm naturally good at working with stuff & pick up languages faster than anyone around. I don't have a cell phone & don't watch TV. I listen to music day & night so I do have an IPod but I can & have lived without one. Computer isn't really important but I'm cool with it. 2 more days & I'll be without it & I don't care. I sometimes like to leaf through magazines & wish I could have all those things that no other person has. I like my stuff burning hot...dislike buying old & "popular" stuff!
Contrarily, I live a very primitive life & like it that way. Technology makes me feel detached from nature & lost so I avoid it as much as possible. Ascendant in Aqua,

I have an iphone.
with technology that's all I really need.I got my iphone around my birthday. And finally feel like I've joined the 21st century.
I actually feel like texting people now that I have a better phone. I do like nature. And I do get depressed if I'm always cooped up. I need adventure. I have camped in a tent a few times...but it is really sh!tty when it rains. And I start to feel too high maintenance. I wish I was at least staying in a camper. I find a camper to be JUST RIGHT when it comes to camping.
And staying in a cabin doesn't count as camping to me. Lately the cabins I stay at in the summer are nicer than my house, have a bigger bathroom and all that jazz. When it comes to technology I sometimes learn at a slower pace...cause I usually need hands on teaching. I hate rushed learning environments most of the time. (is this a Mercury in Taurus thing!? haha)
But it seems like sometimes I can figure out somethings my self, like minor problems with my ipod, and when I was younger I would go behind the TV and move around the chords to get the super nintendo to work.

Well Technology is very important to me but not to the point that it consumes me. I've learn to balance technology with my life. I personally love doing practical activities that stimulate my mind basically more hands on work thats probably my mercury in Capricorn. Since i can remember i have such love for video games I collected all the games consoles and handhelds when i was younger. I used to do graphic design when i was in middle with a friend of mind i personally was surprised how i was be able to grasp everything so quickly. I have a knack for cellphone i cant seem to last no more than a year with one cause i always want the latest one. I at the moment I own a Iphone 4 and i believe is the best phone i ever own especially after I jailbreak it you can do amazing things to it. I cant live without my computer is something i use in the daily basis and the same with my Ipod I"m a music junkie so this are my mainly usage.

I Think it’s good to have a nice balance between using technology and getting into your ‘head’…. where we express our Uranus and Mercury, and getting out and about in the world, and using our physical energy... where we usually use our Mars (physical exertion), and Venus (physical stimulation)…I absolutely love my laptop. It’s my connection to the world, it feeds my curiosity, and it almost makes a TV obsolete as you can watch pretty much any show on your computer these days. I also have an Ipod, which I really enjoy. I love all kinds of music…. Pop, rock (hard, soft, indie, old, modern) hip hop, R&B, techno and even a few country hits. I also download lots of pod casts on various topics (especially astrology, and psychic phenomena) that I listen to when I go for long walks and such. So… Laptop and Ipod. Oh, Yeah and I've got Mercury in Sag (conjunct the Asc from the 12th house) and Uranus in Scorpio in the 11th conjunct the 12th house cusp).

From a young age I was obsessed with computers (not really so much as building them or seeing how they worked but using them to play games and go on the internet). I was the first person in my school to have AIM, for instance (and then later the first person to have MySpace). I started making websites when I was 10 (and stopped when I was 15 I guess out of boredom). I begged and begged my parents to get me a computer when I was 9.I don't really care about having the NEWEST AND GREATEST computer because I just go on the internet anyway. The most hardcore thing I do with it is photoshop lol. As long as I have a working computer, I'm fine. Aqua Sun (Mercury in Aqua), Libra Moon, Gem Rising I don't think Uranus has much to do with it because I seem to be more keen on computers/technology than my peers. But Uranus exactly conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius in my 7th house, square Venus and sextile every other thing. Oh and I have an iphone, macbook pro, ipod, apple tv... and a kindle. IP: Logged |

I've always been extremely adept at using computers, figuring out how to work electronic devices, and typing in a weird way - the hunt and peck method, except I don't have to 'hunt' for the keys, so minus that part. I only type with my two index fingers because my mind is working so quickly, I adapted to using this method when my hands could not keep up!  At a young age I could figure out difficult video games on my own, like how to work the controllers and fix setting, etc., and in time I've become good at fixing problems on the computer too. I contribute it to my Mercury being in the 11th house. I have Uranus in the 2nd house, showing I have unique ideals about money, and will earn in spontaneous ways. It doesn't scare me having this placement. I feel since it trines my MC it's actually a good thing! I don't feel the need to have all the new technological gear, though. I'm not a fan of the iPad. I can live without using my phone for a while. I'm perfectly OK with not being plugged in some of the time. I actually find it a relief to be away from technology when I am busy or just do not feel like it. If I had to choose what device I couldn't live without, it'd be my Mac. It's absolutely wonderful. I feel so grateful to have it! In close second is my MP3 player. I'm very into music and it helps me with my writing and fitness. I'm a little obsessed with music of the past, and very eclectic, original stuff. Uranus conjunct Neptune

I'm sort of a luddite, not really into gadgets, although obviously I like talking to people over the computer. Most of the time, I would rather be doing something interesting outside. I don't text, my cell phone is rarely on, I don't like talking over the phone. I like being with my friends in person. Well, I do like watching TV, browsing the internet, etc., but I'm not as interested in the newer versions. I'm not interested in owning an Iphone or anything like that - I own a standard flip phone that I use only for calls and texts. I would have issues separating with my laptop, though. Lol. I could if it was necessary, but I'd rather not.Capricorn Uranus

Uranus in Sagittarius.I work as a web administrator right now, taking old web pages created years ago and updating them to new standards. It may not be the most glorious job.
But, anyone with a computer science degree or related can get a internet programing job quickly and its not to hard of a job. Plus, I'm trying to finish another degree thats related, but more specialized. There are also lots of apps I want to try making, but I just don't have the time. I use my laptop everyday, my desk has a multiple monitor setup and I use my Samsung Galaxy all the time for everything. Not a fan of apple products, its mostly marketing and "fad" mentality driven. Plus they have been/ or are in litigation with google, samsung, htc and pretty much all the other players that pose a threat to there dominance. Think of Microsoft in the 1990's antitrust. In other places in the world Samsung is starting to dominate. No offense, but when you buy an iphone your employing a worker in Taiwan and they work 12+ hrs shifts. North America sees no benefit. --------------------------------
