My south node (Gemini)conjuncts another's north node
Their south node conjuncts my north node (Sagittarius).

Now I've read of it being karmic, but that word can get overused. I've tried researching for fresher perspectives but can't seem to find much of anything, so I thought I'd gauge the group. I'll appreciate the feedback.

With the man, we were like two strangers passing in the night. Completely opposite life paths and intense synastry to boot.

All I can say about it is if my step mother hadn't have married my father then I'm not sure we would have had the chance to be helpful to one another. But since she did, she helps me out with my NN because she's been there and vice versa. I also have Moon conjunct my SN so I think that helped a lot with bonding.

I'm not sure how it would work in a couple's situation long term since your goals would be opposite, but if you took the same tactic of helping each other then I guess it's possible I would look to the rest of the synastry to see. Do you have any planets conjuncting either SN or NN?
