Hi all,I am new to the Forum and am already elated to find a surplus of information on here. I am relatively well-versed in astrology, but what I've had trouble reconciling with is the fact that many family members of generations that precede ours are unable to find an accurate birth time. I have particular interest in a great-grandmother of mine who I met only a handful of times before she passed, but for some reason have always felt a very spiritual connection to. The first step in deciphering why that is would be to cast her Natal Chart. Perhaps you all could be so kind to tell me what planetary energies you pick up on from the attached photo? Hello xerxes! Welcome to LL  I see strong Leo, not so much in appearence but in the way she holds herself and looks directly in the camera.
If you are interested in rectifying her chart may I suggest starting by putting her Mars in the first house. (her beauty mark) IP: Logged |

Thank you both! I sensed a very potent Leo energy, too. She was known to be a very dignified, regal, proud, and bossy woman, so the Leo theme fits her perfectly. To boot, every member of my maternal line has Leo potent in their chart -- they're all Leo Suns, Moons, and AC. We probably inherited this energy from her.Can anyone else attest to seeing Leo energy, or share what others signs may be at play here? Someone made mention of seeing Air? Thank you! IP: Logged |

Everybody says Leo and I can kinda see why...but her facial expression says Capricorn to me. Then again, I am so not good at picking up on planets/sign in people's faces...IP: Logged |

The beauty mark on her face was actually painted on, so the notion of Mars in the 1st gets thrown out the window. I was thinking maybe a Leo AC with Neptune in 1st? What does she seems to you? If you look through other family members charts you should find signatures...in mine there is Mars in Taurus, Jupiter in the 3rd or 9th, moon/uranus aspects etcfor instance my grandmother moon opp uranus

Hi there, thanks for the advice! I did in fact do this earlier, and am leaning toward 1922 because of the Scorpio Moon. Her first daughter had one, and every first daughter of the following 3 generations have Scorpio Moons. IP: Logged |

You can get her birth cert so you don't have to guess. Also check the ssi index. They give dob & you'll know the dob w yr. At least. Looks don't give a lot of info. Personality tells mote. IP: Logged |

Hi there, thanks for the advice! She was born in Quito, Ecuador, so obtaining her birth certificate isn't so easy. I suppose the picture was posted in hopes of yielding Ascendant guesses... Thoughts? IP: Logged |

I have a real beauty mark like that, but no Mars in the 1st. I think that beauty mark is a Gemini/Virgo/Mercury signature.9/23/1919 produces a 7 lifepath. This is a spiritual, easygoing, reclusive type of personality. Produces strong artistic talent. Secretive, but also likely suffered deception. An innocent nievete is observable in the personality. 9/23/1922 produces a 1 lifepath. Standoffish, and reclusive at times, but VERY dominant with a Queen-of-the-Jungle approach to domestic affairs.
