At first i thought this was a negative thing to have planets there, but the more I understand about it I think it can actually be positive and give you access to a lot of depth and understanding with time and maturity...

The 8th house is also another factor in the types of people you attract. I could be WAY wrong, but I think the 7th house is what YOU'RE attracted to, and the 8th house is WHO get attracted to you. With your Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune there, it makes alot of sense why you attract Capricorn and Scorpio types. I think you said once that you attract watery types too, that's Neptune in action.

Uranus in the 8th house seems to comes off as instability in transformation, death and sexual matters. But because Uranus also seems to be the planet of revolution and freedom I'd say in the cases of love and sex; truly being ones self and not allowing for there to be no taboo on spending time apart, no shame connected with having different friends, different beliefs, different versions of the same shared histories or backgrounds, and no need to be constantly monitored, criticized, and held under surveillance by the partner. No taboo within a sexual relationship either.

Coupled with Neptune in the eight somehow sex and love are suppose to provide a opening to different states of consciousness beyond anything we might otherwise known on a basic level. I kind of feel like with love and sex with this placement has a deeper meaning almost something sacred even soul-surrendering and without that connection with someone it seems meaningless. Which can lead to self-destructive relationship decisions. Not necessarily in my cases but I do have a friend with Neptune in the 8th in Capricorn he has a odd tenacity of putting way too much trust in certain people simply because he isn't afraid of high peaks of no-strings-attached emotional intimacy.

Every relationship that I've had with a (non-sun) Cancer-influenced person has fizzled out. Even Venus in Cancers. I should get along with them because I have Venus in Scorpio, but I've known three (that I know for sure had this placement), and they just never want to be friends with me.

I know one Cancer ascendant and that person hates me.

I tend to have the best luck with Cancer suns, which is weird because I'm a Libra sun.

I do get along well most of the time with Pisces moons, though. They are sensitive and compassionate (when they are healthy/good/evolved, anyway). Pisces Venus, too. Pisces suns, I don't dislike, but it tends to fizzle out with them too.

Cancers/Cancer-influenced people haven't shown much interest in being my friend.

For example, my 8th house sign is Cancer. My Sun and Venus are there. The majority of people who expressed interest in me had Cancer Mars, or some other Water Mars.

A lot of times you attract the qualities of the sign on your DC, not the sign itself though that's also possible. I'd need to see your chart to see if I see why you attract scorpio types. It should be there somewhere.

I said on here a while ago, that I've been hit on by every sign except for Scorpio Sun. Well that has very recently changed for me.

Anyway, as for why you like caps, they fall into your 7th house up to the first half of the sign. They also hit your neptune, saturn or uranus and you may like that energy. You also have saturn in your 7th showing an affinity for caps. Venus square saturn may make you like cap energy and they may activate this aspect.

For scorps, they fall into your 5th house up to the first half of the sign. They may hit your pluto and they may oppose your moon and you may like that. You have pluto in your 5th showing an affinity for scorpio. Moon opposite pluto may also make you like scorpio's intensity.

In progressed caps fall into your 7th also and make up for the 2nd half of the sign.

Scorps entire sign falls into your 5th in progressed. They also oppose your P sun and venus in progressed. You have p.venus trine Saturn (cap) and opposite pluto (scorp) giving you an affinity for those energies.

In placidus, the nept/sat/ura falls into your 7th house which makes sense why you'd like cap/scorpio and possibly pisces, though you didn't mention them.
